Hello there I'm Janice Dean taking a look at your forecast for the southwest and towards the southern plains.

Very warm across Phoenix today 96783.

In Flagstaff -- nine in Albuquerque.

67 in San Diego as we head towards.

The southern plains were dealing with temperatures in the -- -- for Dallas and Shreveport but we're looking at temperatures in the sixties.

For Midland and 74 in San Antonio we have a low pressure system that's -- lingering.

And with that bringing some showery weather bringing those temperatures down and there's that system we were talking about.

Low pressure that continues to kind of pressed eastward but very very slowly.

Giving the risk for potentially some strong winds and some hail and even isolated tornadoes for mainly south Texas.

We could see some bad weather across portions of New Mexico as well also they -- severe weather threat.

Again for much of west central Texas in towards south Texas including Del Rio down towards Corpus Christi with large hail damaging winds.

And isolated tornadoes as that low continues to move.

Eastward across the region and the threat for heavy rain -- well they need the rain for the area but it's kind of a too much of the good things situation where two to four inches could.

-- very short period of time and we have flash flood watches and warnings in effect.

Until Friday morning so keep that in mind if you live in the great state of Texas have a great day.
