We are getting reports and how much money all of the president's been -- exits his change in position.

On the day issue as you said a million dollars raised in little more than ninety minutes and that was.

Within just hours of the president announcing that a marriage can be defined as more between that -- between a man and a woman.

While we're also told that ahead of the big.

Syndicate George Clooney's house tonight -- and California.

He stands to raise north of fifteen million dollars which in one fell swoop.

Would be more than the Romney camp typically raises in a month.

Donald Trump on that and what he makes of all of that's Donald.

What do you think.

Well obviously he is raising a lot of money at the same time it's very risky you look at North Carolina which is going to be a very very important and powerful state for the elections.

And they just.

They just voted it down I mean they are.

Very strongly against so it's a very risky move I think I think in terms of raising money probably it's a positive but -- you have a couple of states.

Which -- really will -- the other way I think because of what he did yesterday.

You know there are a lot of people.

-- who have looked at edit and a few of those states that the president surprisingly one.

Four years ago more conservatively minded North Carolina of course right as you mentioned Virginia even Indiana and that those.

Combined for about 39 electoral votes heavily right -- and -- this decision alone not exclusively because of this.

He he faces an uphill battle winning those electoral votes this time do you -- about.

Well I've been hearing how important those three great states and I've been hearing it to the last six months in particular because select.

More than -- -- -- you have to -- I -- has to win them and yet they're very very much opposed to what the president said yesterday and as a designer that I sit well maybe he's gonna raise some funds but he's gonna lose those three states have -- if you look at Virginia works I'm very much and -- have a lot of property in Virginia lot of property in North Carolina.

And some great stuff and I understand the people -- understand where they're coming from and I actually think that Obama can't win those states -- so it's.

-- raising money but very important states are not going and I hear that with India and also they will not be going to him very possibly certainly he won't do as well as he was going to do I think.

Look at the voted North Carolina that vote was a tremendous vote against what he did.

You know you mentioned that go to North Carolina these other states.

Eighteen of them by last count that it had referendum on this very issue.

That vote lot -- -- against.

These these daily marriages and the national polls seem to show Americans.

Are split almost evenly on this issue what do you think is the truth.

Well I think it's interesting I think in a -- and they are split.

About 5050 but what it comes time to voting they seem to vote very strongly.

And that's a very interesting fact but.

The -- seem to be -- very much 5050.

But the votes when it comes to actually going to vote and look at the lopsided vote yesterday and -- last week.

So it seems to be very much different from the polls so maybe people get into a polling Booth they change their mind.

You know what I'm Donnelly -- pretty good at marketing and -- -- quite an impart to suspend marketing.

And already the wide -- is coming out.

Trying to seize this day initiative by saying.

You know there their they're moving forward on this Mitt Romney is is all -- provincial on this -- raise this with governor Romney when he's on and a few minutes.

But how -- he respond if you were advising on on this issue and how he you know gets his arms around this decision and and and takes it on how should be.

I think he responded really well yesterday he's not making -- huge issue he's not making it a centerpiece of what he's doing.

It is after all it very much estate oriented thing.

But I put a little about it.

Proposing a constitutional amendment.

Forcing the issue the marriages can only be between man and woman.

Well I thought he well he said that initiatives -- strongly but he also said that it's not percent of these jobs are sort of write speak and to you know to get back to jobs and ignored I think that's what he is doing and a -- he had I watches -- siesta that sort of was absolutely great.

-- as a business -- I mean there is this feeling that.

The economy you know is still recovering albeit slowly some concerns too slowly others have said.

Could be going in reverse of jobs on approval though I know these jobless claims -- very volatile they have been they have been well below 400000 for quite awhile.

So that the trend -- the president's friend do you agree with that.

I'm sure that the trend is the president -- because you get the unemployment numbers the unemployment numbers are skewed.

Where at the numbers come out bad and then the rate drops and the reason the rate is dropping is because they're reducing the work force.

People look for a job -- after a while they give up and they take him out of the unemployment numbers is ridiculous so the way they calculate is not the way it is the real unemployment rates and I've heard people say the real unemployment rates anywhere from nineteen to 21%.

And it could very well be possible.

But yet -- polls pretty well.

I don't know be -- so well he's an incumbent president you have somebody -- just what a great campaign it did a great job and from what I see a lot of the polls have Mitt Romney ahead so I'm mature as an incumbent president your polling very well.

So you think in the end when all's said and done Mitt Romney.

Is gonna win.

I think it's going to be a great candidate and I think he's going to be a great president yes.

Are you going to be as commerce secretary.

Or Treasury Secretary.

Well probably a lot of people would like that idea but that's something we've never discussed it was very interesting because you're gonna ask you about the banking system in China and China coming into buying up banks and you mentioned I -- And -- -- panic right underneath -- -- what do how do you feel about that at easy about the well I I think it's probably fine we have to be very careful but the funny thing was you'll have it be intact they gave me that is the question I CPC as the largest bank in the world.

And there might tended to right -- -- speed they're -- they're very happily playing well out.

This they may be there they're here to take over the world well maybe jail and they're right in your building and it doesn't want to and they've been very nice the -- I -- so I have to get a little bit of that denial of an hour ago I didn't my answer I got you know -- well -- -- -- I thought it was a bad thing I -- give -- -- attended -- but the fact is we have to be careful and what -- people invest in our country.

I tend to like that who -- Donald Trump was -- pleasant thing have a good time thank you.
