Happy Friday and meteorologist Janice -- watching the forecast foray across the southwest and southern plains let's take a look at those temperatures -- -- 95.

In Las Vegas 99 in Phoenix still very cool across coastal areas of the west 65 in San Diego taking a look.

At Albuquerque where looking -- eighty degrees today.

Moving across the southern plains that's the area -- you could see the potential for some severe weather.

-- fourteen reports of tornadoes across south Texas yesterday that severe weather or the threat and that is going to continue across east Texas.

And in towards Louisiana that you can see some of these temperatures.

Below average across of the southern plains but.

I think a lot of you are probably enjoying the refresher.

That refreshing temperatures if you will.

A -- satellite radar and we can see that system that's slowly creeping eastward across Texas.

And Louisiana again bringing the threat for some hail and damaging winds and even isolated tornadoes throughout the day today and into tomorrow as that system continues to creep eastward.

Also flood advisories in some cases we could see two to four inches on top of what we've already seen over the last 48 hours so flash flooding could be an issue.

Across portions of Texas and towards coastal Louisiana.
