Captures an active listeners are at Dawson is jumping into the political fray for the try twelve elections and she thinks Mitt Romney -- seal the deal for the Latino vote.

You know -- from that movie there -- men in black to also sin city and rent and several other successful films -- on the current -- -- very sad yeah all right so you say Romney can do well with the Latino vote how can he do that I think -- -- was talking about it really perfectly you know a lot about the you know.

Issues are American issues and the economy is incredibly important right now.

Four especially Latinos who are really hard hit and kind disproportionately hit by economic crisis by the job crisis by.

Housing crisis so I think that's what they're really looking for someone's gonna have bats this.

Fox News did -- -- -- pull off on February though that shows that 12100 likely Latino voters preferred Mitt Romney CC President Obama Mitt Romney by sort of an overwhelming percentage take a look at the 70% to 14%.

And you have to imagine even in February were economic numbers were trending as -- as they perhaps are now in the right direction that.

Maybe there was something about President Obama it was driving Latinos -- to the polls what do you think.

But you know I think there's also that conversation on immigration though that's not the thing that's necessarily -- the issue that people -- to -- voting on a Latin community.

I think it's I think that's definitely kind of swaying them -- -- they're gonna kind of -- there's.

But their attention I think.

Obama though he has done he -- more deportations in his term and mom than anyone before.

On being he's got the way I think he's spoken to and spoken about it and again these are you talking on American Latinos could guar.

Legally here so they want to -- talked to like they're Americans and I think he's -- a really good job of that I think that's something for Romney is gonna have to really look too.

To kind of when -- you know he's he's had different opinions on the DREAM Act is that different.

Opinions going back and forth and immigration and that's an issue of trust for voters that's not an isolated thing that's -- they're gonna vote on the they want about on what about on the economy.

How you talk about immigration they want to hear about it is going to be really -- And fact that he's had a tougher stance will -- Mitt Romney has then -- and his Republican.

-- he -- tougher stance and so do.

Not Hispanics obviously the ones who live here who considered themselves American who are here legally today in -- -- not like that his tough stance on illegal immigration.

It depends you know that's -- thing you know about Latinos not a -- -- voting block so that's that's the other.

Issues that you know even within Florida -- and the north to the south about state.

You're gonna have very different voting voting trends within the Latino community so I think that's going to be doing is gonna have to be a very Broadway at which you try to.

Connect with the Latino community it's not just going to be one phrase is -- can just be one sentence.

You know it's gonna it's gonna take a lot to really kind of convince everyone especially along the border states have a different issues around immigration and even someone from the northern states -- Not just a new Yorker of course -- of Hollywood as well as -- live out in LA he also live over in London as well but.

I am curious about this sort of response -- to Hollywood has gotten recently certainly political circles and it's that it's sort of this monolithic voting bloc in favor of President Obama he is of course going after the 1% hers before have been raising fifteen million dollars George Clooney party the other night.

It's Hollywood happy with President Obama com.

-- so yes and no I mean -- -- I've seen a lot of people who actually work.

Really big supporters of his kind of -- and -- -- -- -- state to state for him that are deciding not to do that this.

This term.

So I mean I think about again like people people have -- sort of feelings about you know I think both of these candidates and it you know and he's got my immigration you talking about.

Healthcare you're talking about gay marriage.

You know that's not is that going to be something that everyone across the board is gonna be -- for I think you're seeing that 51% of voters across America are -- -- but.

Over forty schools 49% are not so I mean and that -- its split so I think there's you know that's the that's the thing that I've always -- going to both conventions last election.

Was so enlightening for because this is really going you know that it's not so obvious.

It is different Americas vying for the presidency and they have different ideas for the direction of this country and who speaks about the best.

Is gonna definitely win but I'm I'm waiting for that president to comment that she can bring those two sides together which I think we still haven't seen -- The direction you're headed after the show is 2 Grand Central station in Clinton mentioned being in New Yorkers so you take trains everywhere I'd say I'm getting to today being fifth annual train -- -- all about that Leyland.

They -- most folks don't tell us about it that celebrated yes and it's it's it's our fifth year actually we're bringing it to New York we're going to be in Los Angeles Chicago and Philadelphia and we are talking and celebrating trains.

And train travel you know that thirty point two million people.

Used rallies services last year alone and that number's gonna continue to growth population grows so there's a rich history obviously for train travel in this country and and where you know they're going to brought to build -- -- -- station which is right to Penn Station apparently post office is gonna be refurbished is gonna start construction this year.

Finished in 2016 is gonna look gorgeous I live in London city NC tankers stationed what they've done to refurbish that isn't you know I don't wanna and that's what we're gonna finally happier and I think that's going to be really really important -- almost.

200.

Like other events that people are doing all across the nation you're altering accident like that but yeah.

Maybe it's strange how that is great thanks so much are -- in a Smart man Saturday morning talk just -- -- -- dot.
