Here's a story don't wanna miss family and friends remembering a hero on and off the battlefield retired marine sergeant Austin -- -- to -- in Iraq.

But this past weekend he died trying to save a friend in a plane crash.

Joining me now is his uncle pastor Cody Anderson to remember this fine young man good morning to you -- Good morning condolences to you and your family and know how difficult this time must be for you here you have your nephew.

-- survived two tours in Iraq what happened over the weekend's plane crash.

But over the weekend him and some other members of of staff with teen mania were -- into an event.

And there were some complications -- we haven't received the details on those complications yet.

And then the plane plane went down and there was two survivors and which was my nephew Austin and then -- loose.

And in the midst in the midst of of that we don't know all the details but we know that Austin.

-- had burns over 90% of his body.

And -- we do not know Hal he would even be able.

Two a gift himself and Hannah away from the wreckage into the side.

Quite a ways away from the wreckage to where they could find helping get to them and what's he got to the place where.

Had a little bit of safety -- -- he basically went into shock.

Britain but.

What's more thankful that we were able to and to be with him at the hospital.

They're in Wichita and -- with -- those final moments.

And he saved -- -- life in the process.

I wanted to give you a chance mr.

Anderson -- talk about the life that Austin and lived because you call him.

A game changer when you me.

Well no matter now -- also was involved and he did it with full passion.

From at this that this guy -- so much faith and -- only faith in himself but also faith in in Christ in everything that he did was just a hundred and and -- and in 10% if he walked into a room in that room was full.

It would be just -- because -- he stepped into it.

And he did everything.

From from high school all the way through to serve -- As a as a tremendous dedicated marine with -- passion for life hasn't stated -- -- are you.

He had a huge impact.

And and he just didn't slow down he was passionate about life in and now what we're gonna missing.

He was 27 years old he served two tours in Iraq he say he lit up any room that he walked into UV's behind his family.

And his girlfriend who -- planning to marry later on this year.

But -- -- his family can -- that young man.
