Hi everyone I'm meteorologist Mario Molina from the fox extreme weather center with the forecast for the northeast and today is gonna -- -- much change in our weather we had a beautiful weekend for Mother's Day a lot of sunshine pleasant temperatures.

And today we're gonna see -- turned to -- more muggy rainy side we're gonna have a storm system arriving that's going to be bringing in some showers and thunderstorms.

And even areas of steady rain as we head into tomorrow the temperatures won't be really that far off from where they should be at this time of the year so near normal seven -- will be your high temperature.

Over New York City seventy in Philadelphia and -- as well.

For your high Washington DC and as we head west where interior northeast looking at similar conditions.

But -- at 69 in Pittsburgh and 71 for buffalo and also Syracuse and -- -- look at that rain already moving on into portions.

A new England's southern New England getting hit with some of that rainfall across parts of Vermont and New Hampshire -- As we -- -- what we actually have some areas of heavy rain heavier rain.

On the -- operations -- -- we're gonna continue to see that heavy rain for today so that's what we have that risk.

For some flash flooding and as we head into tomorrow some -- -- heavier rain.

We'll continue -- track northward now going to be hit with some of that across New York City by an Iranian Tuesday also for -- off to the north.

Across the -- of Vermont and also parts.

Of upstate new York and then singled out Wednesday morning the heavy rain will be concentrated across portions of eastern New England behind that system we're gonna have some drawings of Pennsylvania.
