-- secrets of Iran's nuclear program revealed in picture now according to a new report by the Associated Press.

-- -- As this sort of secret chamber used to test triggers.

A nuclear explosions that comes out just before world powers are innocent down for the next round of -- -- and nuclear negotiations and -- and take up.

A closer look at this with -- Washington international security expert.

At MIT's security studies program so a lot of unnamed sources to this Associated Press report again but but how significant.

Is this.

Well it relates to what has happened in the past I think everyone agrees US intelligence foreign intelligence in the IAEA the international atomic energy agency.

-- say that prior to 2003.

Iran had a weapons program they were and you know violating the the nuclear nonproliferation treaty.

Then the US intelligence community believes that in 2003.

The supreme leader put a halt to that and stopped it.

But you know but nevertheless there are facilities and other sorts of activities that may have continued in an ad hoc manner and so this is one of the things that -- ABA's trying to figure out.

Did this was this facility used in the past in support of a weapons program.

Say you're saying it could be a facility that was once used and now is no longer being used -- still potentially be.

An active facility and that's -- that's appointed discretion that that would probably needs some more clarity on.

Yeah absolutely I think -- of most people think of that program has stopped.

Any -- again has.

But yes I do I do I think when the supreme leader speaks the government pays attention.

And the evidence here is is very strong that the supreme leader issued that order 2003.

But you know there are reports and I -- is trying to investigate to see if anything has happened since then.

But in the main I think that they had a program they were in violation.

I think they've stopped at what they've continued with -- and enrichment program which is the focus of the other set of international talks that are taking place this week.

News international community whether there's a bomb program or not they don't want Iran to continue with enrichment.

And -- -- let's set bring everybody up to date on this timeline -- sort of coming together now we have a meeting that's happening in Indiana.

With some of these nuclear officials and Iranian officials asked that precursor if you will to a bigger meeting next week.

With the six party talks in Baghdad with Iran again about what they're gonna do about their nuclear program we've talked a lot about the sanctions -- -- June is going to be a very important time.

In this year.

At about whether or not the sanctions go forward so where are we now with the -- Well I think that this deputies meeting that you referred to that's happening this week is going to be critical.

You know before we run would have a meeting in the US or whoever whatever maybe once a year and they wouldn't go anywhere and you know under the bright -- spotlight to TV no one -- really compromise.

But now they're meeting the deputies are meeting to try to get down to the nitty gritty to set up a meeting at the end of the month.

And if there's progress there then I think you'll see that might -- some of those sanctions will not be put in place but at those meetings fall apart.

And don't go anywhere or the IAEA meetings fall apart and don't go anywhere then I think you'll see a new tough round of sanctions.

-- hockey talking next week jam and those meetings take place -- -- can do for announces of that -- nice to hear though a.'s Jim thank you very much.

Thank you.
