There Mitt Romney firing back to the president right now.

And his -- claiming that Bain Capital the company the Romney used to head up kill jobs in America.

Here is part of that Romney response.

That Romney's private sector leadership team stepped.

Building a dream with over 6000 employees today that it wasn't -- company like still dynamic that -- -- have a lot.

American workers and a small town.

Proving that anything is possible.

And America so we it is game on serve and return and Romney now on the battleground state of Iowa today saying that the president -- his economic record should not throw.

Stones a few moments ago -- talk of the Republican governor.

Out of Louisiana's Bobby -- -- -- Romney supporter.

Governor Bobby did a good morning -- and Baton Rouge is good to have you back in our program here in America's Newsroom.

-- what do you think of the jointly owned by -- you're welcome what do you think of the short clip we just played there.

With what appears to be the Romney team in their response -- -- hit Sunday capital.

Well two things one up thinking goes to it two themes of this campaign won a contrast fact that.

Pres Obama hasn't run anything before you -- to present United States never ran a state never ran a business never ran a lemonade stand.

This jobs too important for on the job training in contrast -- -- he's been a successful governor a successful businessman he's got the executive experience.

But it also goes -- a second point.

President Romney have a president Obama simply cannot -- on his record the reality is.

23 million Americans unemployed underemployed simply -- left the workforce.

-- Obama cannot ask the American people are you better off than you were four years ago he's gonna have to savagely attacked Mitt -- we've seen the start of that this week.

And now you're seeing Mitt Romney respond which I think is a very good thing.

There are Republicans who say that they weren't quite sure that Mitt Romney and his team were prepared for.

I guess the onslaught against Spain and this goes back covers political history for the past eighteen years but were you one of them was concerned about that.

What this is nothing new -- Kennedy is -- this was tried in the Republican primaries.

The reality is over twenty weeks left in this campaign I think every week -- new -- a new attack out of the Obama White House.

Simply because he can't run on his record you know pres Obama promised several things he promised.

He cut the deficit in half by the end of his first term not gonna happen for years of trillion dollar plus deficits and -- promise if we pass a stimulus unemployment would be below 8%.

Not gonna happen 39 months wrote plus -- 8% plus unemployment.

He promised he would reform the entitlement programs have a plan to save social security and Medicare not gonna happen he promised.

If we passed obamacare he would reduce health care insurance premiums when he 500 dollars.

For the average American family again not gonna happen premature going up not down.

You've got broken promise after broken promise so you know last week you wouldn't would admit Ronnie -- -- high school this week it's Bain Capital next week who knows maybe -- attack something else.

The reality is you notice -- is gonna have to distorted that's the way politics works but but again I think the last time we -- you're Rick Perry guy.

And absolutely and and now you you talk as if you're firmly in Mitt Romney's camp and -- -- -- to be a possibility on his ticket.

But I did do you help -- believe as a VP.

Look at it -- this isn't about his VP it's about the vision going forward for America I'm firmly in the Mitt Romney can't because we got two choices in this election.

It's not about dogs it's not a high schools -- about Maine it's about.

The future of America pres Obama is forty increase the federal government to 24% of our economy.

You were heading towards the European socialist type governments we -- in Greece.

And other countries that are there are nearing bankruptcy you contrast that would Mitt Romney offering all of limited role for the federal government a reinvigorated private sector economy.

This election is really not about QTV -- it's not about who looks best on TV it's not two very different visions for America.

I'm supporting Mitt Romney because this is about preserving American dream for our children.

Pres obamas had four years were not better off than we were four years ago we can't afford another trillion dollars of debt we can't afford another four years -- -- Obama on that last point there -- special and it -- a -- the last question last -- I have reviewed here he's an Iowa today Mitt Romney is.

Talking about -- talking about spending how powerful of an argument.

Can he -- -- and contrasting his record with president Obama's.

Well look I think he can show in Massachusetts when he was governor the unemployment rate was below the national average he can show that per capita income grew faster than.

The national average he can also provide his detailed plans that shows he wants return discretionary spending back to the the free.

Obama levels he also wants to cap government the federal government spending -- -- percent.

He's got a very -- plan.

Pres Obama's got four years or broken promises we have seen what present what four years -- pres Obama means.

It means spending money we can afford Mitt Romney is offered a very detailed plan to shrink government.

And grow the private sector and all these polls are so close I assume you agree with the polls this nation is split 5050.

And it will be very tight come November governor thank you for your time today that -- Thank you very much -- Bobby -- in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
