And then the ultimately the chief executive of news international which is Rupert Murdoch's UK newspaper empire.
Until she stepped down in July she's also a friend of British prime minister David Cameron.
And part of her testimony before that judge let lettuce an inquiry last week.
Was about the frequency and informality of text messages sent between the two she's been charged with three separate counts of conspiring to pervert the course of justice.
Those charges involve allegations that Brooks tried to conceal material from officers of the metropolitan police.
Including documents computers and other electronic equipment and that she conspired to remove.

Brooks was arrested for these offenses back in March but last July she was also connect arrested in connection.
With phone hacking and payments to police and arrest for which she is still on bail.

And after that further unprecedented posturing of that CPS which is the Crown Prosecution Service will respond later today after our return from the police station.
