This summer concert season's almost here and members of one bands now say they're fighting to save their fans big money on service charges.

By scalping their own tickets.

It's a jam band called String Cheese Incident.

And it's buying up tickets to show its to its own show's been selling them back to fans without ticketmaster's extra -- Those fees tack on an average of fifteen to 20% of the ticket price.

Ticketmaster reports that money covers things like processing and delivery even if you get your tickets by email.

Last year those fees added up to more than one billion dollars.

So far no comment from Ticketmaster which -- a confidentiality agreement with the group.

So it's surprising that more bands don't do what the String Cheese Incident are doing.
