And their colleagues.

For the 2012 military father award the award honors dad's.

We're not just heroes to our nation but are also heroes at home there are only three finalists left.

And here they are.

Joining us now.

The Tenet William Edwards senior airman Jonathan Jackson and lieutenant Dennis Kelly gentlemen thanks so much for being hair.

Here's what your kids say it is great about you know they say that number one -- geek.

Number two you dress up in -- at their birthday party is.

And one thing they really appreciated that distinguishes you from the other gentleman is that you create these very cool videos.

To send home to your kids while you're away and you've done it for other families as well tell us about those.

Well I've got some some -- it editing equipment and some special effects equipment and you know we can do light -- Faxon things.

So we make a lot of home videos.

We do that -- when I'm at home we make a lot of videos.

But like I kind of thought last time I was deployed -- -- -- camera with me wherever I went and I cannot keep myself -- what I was doing.

And I made bunch of videos but one of particular that they really liked and they watched all the time was called the day with daddy.

Com and -- iconic chronicled everything that I did throughout the day and they added some effects in it and made it funny on so that was sound.

That's -- -- in addition in addition in addition Nelson the lasers things that I had at some of the other families that were there the other dads.

I kind of made videos for them so they can send home to their kids and then there's kids got to seem fighting with with late -- and things.

All my gosh what -- would love that my son loves light -- are let's get to senior -- Jackson and I want to talk about what.

Has distinguished you your kids say that they love -- you teach them how to fish at about god and one of the different things about your.

You're parenting experience is that you have open your home.

27 Foster children in total and in fact you've adopted two of them tell us what you did that.

Well it's pretty easy when kids -- their home and then.

-- not a lawyer turned its pretty easy decision to keep them.

I don't know and I don't mean me in Miami in their life then really blessed.

And of course suit to provide a temporary home for your other Foster kids that's really special on the tag Kelly -- -- we shouldn't.

Wife and they and she says that your very special that because you do individual things that each of your kids from Bible group to cub scout leader to soccer coach -- reading books over the video messaging.

What's your favorite thing about fatherhood.

I think it's just the the unpredictable factor you know that it's it's a lot of fun.

And lot of about it.

Chaos with five kids but it's.

I miss it when it's quiet I don't know what to do it myself but I guess the -- of my favorite thing is.

This coming home and be and now bum rush by -- five kids to yell and daddy.
