Your rates can go up let's say on average eleven per cent just on that one traffic stop.

Look don't get stopped is tip number one but he -- -- what city you don't speed is tip number one I really want to be a good safe driver and there are things that you do you have control over.

So you don't speed you don't drink and drive you don't.

Do distractions you don't try to put on make up or or taxed while you're driving.

All of those things are really -- say.

Or if you get a ticket for any of this.

You're going to be paying a lot more for insurance does it help to go to traffic school -- that reduce the penalty an increase in rates well it depends on the state that you can take a defensive driving class and that is the type of thing we'll get.

But you could also shop around comparison shop different companies offer different rates.

And shop around -- you can also work with your insurance company say you really like the insurance company that that you currently have.

If you have your home and on -- what the same insurance company.

That will save you money but talk to then ask them what steps you can take.
