-- top lawmakers speaking out about the race for control of the house in November no surprise Nancy Pelosi and Paul Ryan -- Different takes on the elections.

The House Minority Leader says the Democrats -- in good spots and that the speakers speaker John Boehner is downplaying the democrats' chances.

For winning back control take a listen.

I think would be -- even.

About it speaker says three.

Thirty -- -- 30% chance that they -- -- something.

But I think it's -- than that but at what he did say that was correct.

Was that their best fifty Republican seats in play I would say 75.

They feel pretty good -- we we are.

And for his part Paul Ryan the House Budget Committee chairman says the election will decide who's economic plan gets the nod.

Moving forward especially when it comes to who controls a lame duck session after the November elections.

What's gonna.

Happen at the end of the year I think will largely be determined by who wins this election and this election is really going to be a great choice of two contrasting.

Visions.

Out power panel is back KT McFarland Judith Miller and -- mean a rally said -- else are we -- this time.

How we feel about the numbers that are -- play do you agree with Nancy Pelosi that 75 Republican seats I think I think that's about right but I think.

It a lot is gonna depend on the turn out.

And how whether or not.

Obama has coattails and whether or not people feel they have to get out there -- -- defender defeat him.

And at that point we're gonna know what the house looks like this -- I do know congress remains unpopular it much more unpopular than executive.

And I think part of reason they're so unpopular is they've been perceived as being the naysayers.

You -- no no no no.

And clearly I think the Democrats would like to change that and I -- back and assuming the president naysayers an inability to get along.

And I think -- and I think -- here you're here they wanna listen.

What is she gonna say on national television of course is gonna say something like that but you know democratic -- has fractured right now you have Obama.

His stance on same sex marriage is.

Putting the black voters at odds with their concerns about where he stands on that -- have the environmentalists and unions and Obama's stance from the keystone XL pipeline.

So his his base is fractured.

But I can tell you what I've seen on the ground from going around the country with my book black flash to a book signings the Tea Party people.

Are are really excited and enthusiastic about the upcoming election for positive change and positive leadership in our country these people.

What good direction and leadership for not want.

Good direction then turning out to that are two entirely to yeah we -- -- right when he says that this is a really important election -- because of the White House but because of congress.

Because star as it is now January 1 a ton of bricks he's gonna hit everybody in the United States your taxes are gonna go -- -- -- not just rich people.

But anybody making over 30000 dollars a year is -- see their taxes -- And Obama care it's gonna kick him Sager.

Your health care costs if you even have a health care plan after.

Your company decides to trash your own plan that's gonna go up twenty to 30% so I think -- is absolutely right to say is a monumental.

Decision who controls and and and do we think that what Paul Ryan is saying now we will hear more yeah -- it out very simply and I think that you him perhaps average American doesn't understand what you just said.

Perhaps because Republicans aren't you know they're -- isn't strongly enough yeah it's also the question in a democracy would you vote for the guy who says.

Vote for me I'm gonna take away your benefits vote for me I'm gonna get a raise your taxes take away your benefits and -- about so I think it's a much more fundamental question that.

How does a democracy govern itself -- and the messaging as we -- former.
