And others on the secular media a dictate that would be pro abortion on demand and any yet time.

Now if you want to apply your religious faith to those issues the media will give you a pass.

But if you take your faith seriously and come out as Mitt Romney has done as a pro lifer he says although.

There's some argument as to whether he was on the other side of that when he was governor of Massachusetts that needs to be explored further or if you believe in traditional male female marriage smaller government lower taxes.

Then no that's a whole different issue so the media won't give you a pass.

You can worship whoever whatever you wish as long as you come down.

On their side of the political agenda this is why reporters need to do a better job of exploring the connection.

Between Romney's faith in his public policies and not the faith itself.

What what does Mormon -- dictate certain policies.

Well those are one of the questions we need to ask I mean many people remember because it been reader should take it over and over John F Kennedy's famous speech to a group outside Houston.

Many many people in America worship an authority higher than the state and the media need to be briefed on these things they need to study Mormon -- and then they need justice they -- need to study Islam more effectively and then they need to ask the kinds of questions all right your faith teaches this now if you were president of the United States.

Will you implement what the faith teaches and if not why not.

People need to know this but again most of the media are embarrassed about religious questions because they don't want to know much about it.

-- it offends them personally but I think this is critical and it's important and more journalists need to be asking those questions.

Mormon is and teachers abortion is wrong same sex marriage is wrong.

These are questions that reporters should be asking I mean in an age of gotcha journalism these are these are important and penetrating questions that need to be asked.

And it it tells voters.

Where they're faith and their earthly agenda lie.

-- it's perfectly fine if you wanna say OK I believe in total separation church and state these are private matters this is what I believe.

But then I would ask okay what what about on some of these other issues that can be connected with your -- Why are they -- OK in your mind and these others are not.

And of course the answer to that is that.

Those certain Mormon beliefs that advance what we conservatives believe is a conservative -- agenda isn't popular with the democratic left and so we jettison those.

And we only apply those that -- say secular liberal agenda.
