The focus of the demonstration of courses because Boeing makes drones and other military hardware now the demonstrators at least this segment of them came here to Chicago looking for a clash with police and yesterday they got it.
When the march terminated over close to McCormick place the demonstrators tried to push through and get all the way up to McCormack place that's where police drew -- -- said they couldn't push any further.
That's we saw the bottles getting thrown over the crowd at the police officers this sticks used to hit the police officers the police officers responded mostly what targeted arrests they would focus on one of the agitators -- -- him more or out of the route.
They did respond at times with the but times.
In -- and some 45 arrests were made through the course of -- demonstrations in the clashes yesterday several of the demonstrators were injured and treated for injuries.
Four police officers were treated for injuries one of them.
Was stabbed in the leg but also in the and that black -- group that generally shows up these big summit and goes off -- -- vandalism here.
Was -- able to -- much of anything off.
So -- the protesters are claiming that there was police brutality and -- -- your crew eyesight yesterday right in the middle of all of it did you witness any of that.
I don't think anyone expects police in riot gear to be -- and they were not general through the course of this.
But they did -- plenty of warning ahead of time that the street was going to need to be cleared there was a point in which the batons came out and it's never pretty when the bad times come out when they're used.
Ultimately when they started clearing the street there was no doubt about who had the Mike and who was in charge it was Chicago police.
In the end today I think a lot of people like giving -- reviews to the police -- rave reviews of the please because of their strength they show.
After days and weeks of being taunted by these demonstrators.
The street was cleared not many injuries and I should point out one of some of the items that were seized from these demonstrators included red state.
