It's a political showdown in the classroom a high school social studies teacher gets into a shouting match of the student.

That raised a question that was critical of President Obama.

-- -- -- -- And I didn't you need more and -- -- my movement.

How I.

Ended -- and you -- -- enough.

I didn't -- me yeah.

Yeah.

Me -- Let you know you can only you can and I am not -- not -- no need to kill me and yeah.

Yeah even today but Brandon -- of the united case didn't play well.

Makes the teacher even suggested that criticizing the president could get the student -- rested.

Kyle Olson is the founder of education action group and he joins us now to wait in -- I remember.

In any of my classes.

Being spoken to that way by a teacher is this the norm.

I don't think it is the norm but there's certain are certainly are people who do this sort of thing in in classrooms and it's not acceptable.

-- what's -- thing about this is that it also shows not just her her opinion and how she doesn't understand American law.

But that she cannot manage a classroom and so I think this particular individual.

In many teachers across America should really be scrutinized to see how they're managing their classrooms.

And if this is acceptable this is a social social studies class where she was supposedly opening up debate talking.

About the presidential candidates and I think the question was whether or not.

That Mitt Romney had bullied somebody -- high school -- and this particular student -- we had on the show earlier.

Said -- didn't President Obama admit his own book that he also bullied somebody and that's what she didn't want to hear is that fair discourse -- Well it seemed like she was doing the shouting.

In the student was attempting to engage her in in some sort of a conversation or debate but it was the teacher that was doing the shouting.

And all he was doing -- I -- listen to this whole thing Sunday afternoon when it came out.

Was that he was just trying to raise these questions and but she didn't want to have anything to do with that but she was saying.

You're not going to disrespect President Obama in my classroom and while I think that's a fair point.

I would also question whether or not she was making those same sorts of statements about President Bush.

Well she.

Later on the tape.

Threatened to have him arrested.

For saying those things about President Obama and we spoke to hunter earlier on our show and here's what he said about that.

I've been taught -- my life and nobody can take your pain in her nobody can take your freedom of speech and she was stunned me just that I can be arrested for slander and I've been -- in my -- captain yet to threaten.

The president to get arrested.

So what's happened now is that as a result of this tape the school district school board has suspended this teacher with -- We think about that.

Well that's.

That's the -- that should happen but what's interesting about this is the only reason this came out was because a student was Smart enough to think I should record what is going to happen because my guess.

Is that this is not the only time that this has happened in this classroom.

And and when we're going to see changed is when more students are doing this sort of thing not not to create gotcha moments.

But to show America exactly what is going on in their classrooms so are you advocating that -- should be taking in -- class.

Well I think -- -- of -- law first of all because there are very clearly state laws regarding this.

But yes I think students should be recording this sort of thing and put it out Tom because -- -- think there was a case in New Jersey where apparent actually.

-- -- is to his child's backpack out.

And huge ramifications for that -- -- to this sort of thing needs to happen more.

I've got to get in the -- statement the Rowan Salisbury school system expects all students and employees to be respectful in the school environment for all teachers to maintain -- professionalism in the classroom.

This incident should serve as an education for all teachers to stop and reflect.

On their inner action with students.

We'll continue to follow this case and continue to speak to you on a weekly basis Kyle Olson thanks so much thank you.
