Today my friend let's bring the political panel to break all of this -- now with me here in the studio.
His former campaign -- -- with -- goals presidential campaign -- have been good to -- -- -- joining us from Miami former advisor to John Huntsman presidential campaign ad -- -- good seal that.
Hey Jonathan how are you I'm good thank you let me come here first so what do you make of this whole -- a book did what did he mean -- mean what he said that.
What does he mean now who.
Couple hole.
Well I watched it I don't know how you can take the comments at a context but.
Maybe we're missing a part of the story that needs to be examined.
What happened between that time Cory Booker says what he said on Meet the Press.
And then later that afternoon and all of a sudden he does the backstroke on some of those comments.
What happened between point eight and point -- -- someone from the Obama administration.
Com and persuade cajole.
-- worse hammer Cory Booker into seeing.
Seeing things differently from one point to the other again I think that's a store a piece of the story that we're missing.
Special do you think.
V I mean you made involving campaigns just -- and has.
Somebody who is not necessarily an important a big national -- But somebody who nonetheless has some degree of weight when they speak.
Within the hobby says something that the campaign doesn't like.
Do you think that they were gonna is that what the heck do you think you're doing this -- -- Absolutely but.
He scored -- specifically said that he was there with.
Surrogate not city was there is speaking image via surrogate means you're speaking on behalf.
Of the campaign.
So it you know -- to be serving in that capacity and then say something that directly contradicts it.
Is not what you do so yeah I'm absolutely sure -- That they called -- and said you know what the heck -- do when you're not speaking for us.
And it's -- -- and that's not different then it that it would be in any other situation but.
You know as much as Republicans.
Can thank -- -- -- for what he just says that we can thank Newt Gingrich Rick Perry.
They -- the exact same things actually even going farther talking about Romney at Bain and vulture capitalism.
Ed what about -- what about the bigger point here ma am it's a little in the weeds probably the most about -- was us talking about it.
Who will who may have said -- whom eccentric but the bigger picture here is is Mitt Romney's record cold at -- cow.
Apple reasonable material.
For criticism praise for John -- came -- -- with his own economic cup possibilities.
Well first let me answer -- question that I think it does because it shows that Mitt Romney.
As opposed to President Obama actually understands the economy.
And understands the flow of capital understands what it means to make a payroll to make difficult decisions to -- and and make it.
And a business more efficient so they can deliver goods and services to the market place.
But on -- on the second point.
The second point here is you -- administration.
Essentially.
Came to Cory Booker between point a to point B.
And -- and exercise its full force and power.
And made him change his tune.
That poor guy looks -- comfortable.
And that video yesterday afternoon Sunday afternoon he looks so long comfortable yesterday afternoon when he changed his mind.
About what he said and Meet the Press.
Somebody from the president's team went there and put the full force of the presidency.
On the mayor and he changed his mind.
That is that that's the story here it's the same thing that we're seeing and the Obama administration.
Knowing no bounds to government intervention and government imposition government security frankly in the market place.
On on the Catholic church on certain Catholic and religious institutions this is the same story and the same -- that's the bigger issue here.
I'm sure one of our viewers weighing in his saying could you -- -- all -- the jury says could you Ossetia.
If this current book test that will be the end -- the Arab partisan politics -- in Richmond the partisan -- I think he wanted.
And I did -- -- part of that politics -- the -- you -- really that is really wishful thinking.
You know and and here's the day here's the answer to that and here's the problem is that everyone says that they don't like negative campaigning.
But they do it works they only don't like negative campaigning against their own -- eleven against the other guy and if you look at.
Whether or not it works.
Newt Gingrich once he went into the vulture capitalism of the -- and against Romney on that front he -- it took him over the top in south Carolina -- absolutely works.
And so whether or not.
Carl was always talking about the poll of whether it or not.
Record at Bain.
Affects people.
What people do say is that they believe because or some do believe that because Romney is a businessman.
That he therefore it would have the experience what you just said.
But the reality is did he in fact create jobs where does anybody have any.
-- where does he say.
That he created jobs and you know what we could do to make it less partisan.
Is go with the record the Romney has -- he runs away from which will be completely.
Laudatory about what he did in Massachusetts which was create obamacare.
Which was support gay rights gun control and pro choice so we can just go anti partisan.
And do this you're the greatest Mitt Romney for what you did in Massachusetts are a couple of other.
