The Health and Human Services Department forking over twenty million bucks to -- cop talk of the health care law just signing a deal with a major PR -- the new ad campaign is supposed to educate the public on staying healthy.

Siegel says we pay for enough of that already -- Stewart what's wrong with some good information about how -- eat the right things and stay -- what's wrong with that.

-- the ethical question aside about -- high hiring a PR firm.

To spread their message.

As though there's knowing that -- -- right anyone that disagrees.

Is miss informing people so there's nothing wrong with a PR firm.

But the message itself is ludicrous at a time when.

We're faced with an obesity epidemic where we're gonna -- 45% of Americans obese by 2030 under the current situation.

Where we extend entitlements we -- there watching television I mean prevention this PR firm is gonna talk about prevention prevention -- But what -- what what's wrong with talking about prevention you say yourself we've got obesity crisis.

Why don't we just prevented by giving good information to the public and getting a good marketing group of good PR company get the word out.

So first of all first of all I don't think that's what the PR firms going to be talking about.

They're gonna be talking about we're giving -- free colonoscopy is free mammograms if we decide you're supposed to get a mammogram here they're gonna decide which preventive tests are useful which aren't we -- that today there's not there's not on the food polling well we don't have brought -- record took a broader thing about which services we can give you at a very expensive rate and you won't have to -- co pay for.

But the problem is it's not about what real prevention is and the government has never been good at real prevention real prevention is -- exercise.

It's eating right it's sleeping right.

It's getting off the couch doesn't anybody doesn't everybody know this already.

Do -- need another government agency telling me.

To no fat no sugar no salt and exercise every day.

Do one that is a great point Stuart there's no evidence whatsoever that anyone telling you to do that -- all me even on the that this went into -- Viewers for years on the street ought to get off their Duff and -- on the treadmill why should a government agency do that.

On the -- pretty can't say but look on the screen that is a scroll of all the different programs from the government telling people how to be healthy eat right exercise right the scroll is and -- I think it adds up to like 340.

Million dollars a year.

You don't like the.

I don't think it will work -- its invasion of the government into our private lives that's number one I have an ethical problem with the number two I don't think it will work.

You don't like going to want.

-- this probably an obese person in the PR agency that's out there I tell people -- -- documented for the cause I was up there with President Bush bicycling with a mountain bike.

And he is a great role model for exercise could he does it every day and he's one -- thirty minutes a day.

When -- people who actually exercise that tells the -- government -- OK don't try hey if I did the government -- --
