Fire power and pride on display as illegal week folks there is -- live beautiful shot -- -- -- -- in New York City today.

US navy warships arriving here for the Memorial Day weekend it's an annual tradition.

They crossed paths with a parade of tall ships it is just a visual spectacular look at that.

There's lady liberty could leaning in -- little bit as -- -- we have back there.

And -- about -- some cool.

Fountains off on the edges of that boat -- angles taken at all -- in New York City how hot.

Well good morning we have a spectacular.

View here along the Hudson River we've got two cameras set up.

Up -- down the Hudson here at pier 92 or coming to you live and of course that camera position you talked about down at Battery Park.

We are expecting the first warship to come through that area and just a matter of moments.

Over the last few minutes.

We've been treated to a spectacular show here on the Hudson.

With those tall ships this is a parade of ships that is now underway at the flotilla -- it will be followed -- tall ships will be followed by the warships.

Coming up second -- entering the New York Harbor under the Veras on a bridge and the lighting up the Hudson to the George Washington Bridge they're gonna turn around.

And then give us that show -- -- on the body of water and that has not seen this type of action in the last twelve years fleet week of course is always so special spectacular.

In the Big Apple but this year is very different because of those tall ships a lieutenant commander Ron carpet -- -- the US navy is now joining me live to talk a little bit about the ships.

Twelve years as we've seen this kind of action.

Yeah it's been twelve years and this is our 25 fleet week since 1984 we've been -- that's typically annually.

So we're pretty excited become -- up -- Hudson right now.
