After months of silence the parents of missing baby Lisa Irwin coming forward this week to say.
There is a new lead in the case.
They claim that one month after their ten month old disappeared out of her -- in the middle of the night.
Her father Jeremy her -- debit card was fraudulently used.
To pay a web site in the UK.
That offers name changes for babies.
Now those parents are demanding answers.
We want answers.
We understand that they have a job to do.
The -- CPB had a job to do you the FBI had a job to do but it's been almost eight months -- we seen our daughter we.
Want answers and we want we -- we're not going away until that happens until she comes home.
And you with things that they would stay would start looking elsewhere now maybe they have an idol and I don't know about it I mean I talked to the FBI over the phone consistently.
Almost routinely but.
It is frustrating is when you feel like you're not getting any answers it's like what where they are looking what are they doing.
Joining me now Fox News contributor mark Furman who is a former homicide detective.
For the Los Angeles police department mark welcome back let me get your reaction to this new clue that they are pointing.
The police to its new to the media they say they pointed out to the cops months ago and they are dissatisfied at the extent to which the cops have followed up.
Book it is and it's an interesting clue because -- absolutely means almost nothing they've known about this since last year.
So it it's interesting that now they choose to bring it forward to the media and actually accused the media of being one of the problems is worlds -- Kansas city police.
So this clue a debit card was taken we have to put this into the contacts like a detective would you take out the emotions of the victim's family.
You take out the emotions altogether and you look at this.
Somebody came into the house.
They came into a window left no evidence that they were there they turn lights on they took a baby of an art it -- the house was occupied they left.
Leaving no evidence out the front door or back out the window.
They they leave it in the process they take cell phones somehow they managed to get a debit card numbers then.
Or later or before.
And then they have a ten month old baby that can't talk can't identify themselves don't even know who they are can't speak.
And they have this inclination that they need to use the -- is debit card to try to change the baby's name from a legal name.
Without -- birth certificate it is the most absurd thing I've ever heard it's not a lead in the Kansas city police.
Probably went through the motions but.
-- They probably felt the same thing -- it.
You you said -- watching the interview you felt that that Lisa's mother dad is getting.
More aggressive -- your words why do you why do you think that.
Well she's she's turning on blame to the media and the police department let let's let's first let's look at some facts here.
She says she wants answers well then maybe you should go to the police department October 20 Joseph Tucker I -- I was told the police department.
You can't talk to my clients directly unless you go through me.
That's October 20 2011.
The last time they saw the Kansas city police was February sector where they provided no useful information and continue to this -- To refuse to be interviewed separately.
Now -- -- the cooperation.
She says as he says she's been talking to -- -- TI organization says you've been cooperating well I guess at the federal level.
I want to ask you about this exchange mark because.
Ed -- -- for the most part sat there and let the clients answer the questions that think he got upset about was the timeline and and just to refresh our viewers.
What happened in his case first broke was the cops came out and said after interviewing the parents that the last time the mother saw the baby.
Was -- 1030 that night or 1040 that night when she when she was going to bed she checked and the baby she was there.
Then.
Almost a month later when I interviewed the parents they told meet.
That in fact that she was no longer certain whether she'd ever seen that baby at 1030 last time she knew she checked on it was 6:40 in the evening that gave the police -- A big new window of time they needed to investigate -- a big change in the case.
I asked ever about it she admitted that she made a mistake.
Look -- lawyer jumped in I want to get your reaction.
The point is chiseled hole went to a struggle -- but it was certainly what happens -- I remember that's what I thought what I -- she she originally told law enforcement -- look there -- initial reports -- that she last saw the baby at 1047% that see that's the problem that was the timeline that we were dealing with an -- -- you -- -- get a copy all the cops didn't see that's what the cops.
Have put out there through -- some spokesperson but I spoke.
With the FBI I understand that time of the Sinai and I and I as I was -- I'm gonna he might have been -- -- never -- those I suppose they're quite as well but the but there was no question it early on that the initial report was that she at last check and the baby at 1040 Joseph.
And then when I sat down with her she said actually.
I don't know whether I checked on her 1040 or not I went to but it's -- -- -- -- was admitted what I was saying but heat with taking issue with it why mark.
Well -- you look at this you've got to try to massage it to your advantage and I think that's what this whole media.
I I it adventure was the the last few days they had no new information and they already know it was not good information it was ridiculous information.
So -- you know they they have these.
Avenues -- percent what we're calling.
The FBI it's not the FBI's case they assisted in this there's no federal crime to stop the FBI's case it's a Kansas city's case -- If you want to talk to the detectives.
Then you offer cooperation.
The way they think that they needed and that means why are you afraid to be interviewed by yourself.
You know so you look at this timeline you and I talked before and after this interview.
Yeah and Lily Allen dean doesn't it time -- I don't -- information right after the break please stand by reverend care you have remarked thank you so much -- your attack.
Picking back up now what are -- you were gonna say your thoughts on the timeline discrepancy in and the reaction to it.
-- American this timeline wasn't just offered once or twice it was offered multiple times are -- by the her wins but it was offered by spokesman for the police which are only working on the information the detectives are blaming.
The FBI is not handling this case so contacting them is pointless.
Contact the Kansas city police -- if you remember Megan -- when this all broke and your interview broke.
The Kansas city police said that we have to -- interview people now because this breaks up the timeline and opens opens it up almost four hours farther.
So they had to.
-- investigate.
Their actual interviews.
Of not only -- -- ones but the other people involved and -- -- about this time out here winds were starting to be.
-- available.
Let me show you something else because is a moment that jumped out at me.
I mean you tell me mark her her reaction seemed genuine.
And -- finish the sentence for me watch this.
-- I look at every baby I look at every single baby.
By the time I -- a public place I am so drained.
From stared at every kid in -- to determine if -- -- not even the boys because we don't know what they have are dressed like we don't know for hair's been cut.
If it's longer.
I imagine.
She would have much more teeth by now.
But my apologies issued a cut that differently but my question was when you go to malls when you go to public places and before -- -- say do you look for her she jumped in with.
You know every single candy she.
Either she is an incredible liar mark or she really is looking for her little girl.
Well I'm not gonna pass judgment on -- she just is I don't know or.
And that being said every detective that's currently working her every detective that's retired that's watching this right now knows exactly what I'm going to say.
You sift through the emotions of people that are suspects witnesses and victims because you have to.
You don't know them you don't know what's genuine you don't know what is acting you have no idea -- you're after the facts the police are not concerned with tears.
They're concerned with the facts and the victim these two people are not the victims the baby is the victim and that is the responsibility of the Kansas city police department.
Not but not Deborah Bradley and Jeremy hero.
And over seven months -- and still no sign of little -- Lisa Irwin mark thank you so much.
Thank you.
