And on the back our -- sitting for down -- hump today Tom Ruskin is with us he's a former.

Police detective with.

The finest and I've known for like thirty years long -- lone man on man I remember when I was a young confident you will remember a young -- but we're very very young.

He's out -- he's really learn exactly we used to see each other rule -- and different events exam that would -- -- the -- presenting that you never ever read me my Miranda rights yet.

We never rest on you the resident up.

-- -- -- Former FBI get to see abilities on Goodyear has now -- most of them memory lane with with that with you all and and and certainly we don't do that while well I can't say thirty years -- Just established to -- you both.

First you know we're just there's just talking about this prostitute scandal with the Secret Service both you gentlemen.

In law enforcement I mean bill.

This just what are your thoughts I mean you know looking -- business trips people -- bars and things and that's one thing right.

This -- this seems even though it's legal -- has been just a whole another level.

Well there's one thing -- I think in my view -- between legality.

And also ethical behavior on behalf of people who work for -- whether they're on a private company and represented the company in a reputation in the -- to that company or whether with the US government.

And -- the truth.

As as government employees and having been one and being my salary paid for by the citizens of this country.

I don't believe that that's an activity that we should be.

Be allowing your car.

Whether or not is legally Loko locally legal I just think it's something that goes against the brand and reputation of the agency as well as against United States much like.

Other private companies did time yeah I guess you know when you have Hollywood stars in this sort of thing when they get in trouble that's always kind of reflects on their brand of course.

I think it depends on what you're doing and what you do for a career.

Relative to engage and I mean I would advise any -- never to do it.

If it doesn't.

Bode well for them.

You know with their company was their employer.

Especially their expensing it.

It wouldn't bode well.

But you know people who work for our company now and I know for bill's company wouldn't be allowed to -- it they would be fired we would terminate them for.

-- was based I want and you the president of Ciampi consulting group and bill is the vice president of control risks.

Both you gentlemen.

Years and years of -- investigative work and we get to baby Lisa which is this heartbreaking story.

In this area the eight month old baby who was allegedly taken from her crib.

When the parents -- said said that she was drunk and the window was open she was ten most of the time ten most of the time.

It happening in months ago and they have been on television misspoke.

This week in fact with our own making -- Just a heartbreaking story I mean bill.

What -- you go -- the baby is is snatched this it is a debit card that shows that sixty some odd dollar.

Charge for a British company that that can change your baby's name.

Legally that's that this is getting that's -- when there -- those type -- companies what are your thoughts yeah.

Yeah it's this this this case overall has been extremely strange case -- -- speaking about it when it first occurred in and certainly.

You know forty -- -- law enforcement the the thought of someone -- into someone's home -- just stealing your baby we've had a few of these cases you look at Elizabeth Smart who is taken from our home.

I mean these things do happen of course more forces -- to focus in on the family as well because.

So -- -- the ones in these kinds of cases networks they have they have to rule out -- look further.

But this this Internet charge of of some of looking to change your baby's name -- -- very -- and I haven't heard about this before.

I'm quite surprised that that.

You know those that -- could exist and usually need to go through some legal representation.

In.

You know in most countries around the world to change.

Of the name of someone and have a -- -- -- light and someone who represents the the child who was underage to see this is in the child's best interest so.

-- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- Panama -- it.

Knocked it to cast anything on these parents -- it seems from my experience that.

Vast majority of these cases as you say have to do with someone that the baby knows a baby -- someone close someone involved with -- -- -- the Lindbergh baby kidnapping.

This was also an infant child so to play devil's advocate here for a second.

You have the Paris once was and always has to look at the parent you have to we'll evaluate could the parents -- -- talkative your investigation.

But his at this point one you have neighbors seeing someone who looks like this Jersey -- who may have abducted the child.

You have to give him a good look.

There's also a sighting of someone who looks also like Jersey Joseph walking down the street with didn't insist that's captured on a surveillance camera.

At a local PS station.

You have to look at this.

That the fact that the father's car.

Would you six months after the kidnapping.

Is not indicative of -- theft of a credit card and I think you have to look at it.

But I think you also have to evaluate in the -- period people who steal credit cards for the purpose of using them.

For illicit purposes normally do so in a very quick point if of these -- the credit card they don't.

-- -- -- -- -- -- having Rangers in this case -- to know whether or not it was the actual car that was used or.

As we know tremendous rings are out there that she steal credit card information and are you able to use that information without the physical presence of a card.

We also know that I wouldn't be too surprising also that -- wasn't would have told.

Other family -- people lose any any credit cards and those -- open if they thought they were compromised because it does lead to a trail also some people really say you know turn off all credit cards you know.

-- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- And he any of those things being provided -- -- for the family.

But the other end of great investigative tool so if someone -- -- use and it does give you -- trail you talk about Jersey job by the way they have discounted him.

But -- cut apparently a couple of these -- -- somebody go up.

This but you haven't -- -- at this point in time you have to.

So take -- -- and look at this case you have to have a new set of investigators work with the -- investigators and given a new set of lies.

Maybe he'll see something that you -- investigators didn't say.

It seems to me from what I've heard.

And from making Kelly's interview with the family with their attorney Joseph -- -- That.

The parents have been -- very close contact with the FBI.

-- they say -- local police have not been as forthcoming or is cooperative with them as the FBI has been I think you have to take.

A new approach to it and maybe sit there with a -- again and go over it one more -- to ward started to see if you've missed something.

Law enforcement agencies occasionally do miss them.

It's -- race announced totally different kind of what this card this -- car this debit card and bill.

You know you your control risks and now they control the rest we have a charge.

-- a charge of them is from Beijing.

And -- -- -- for 53 dollars invasion.

Caught a mop could you know we got it -- start to deal with that what's your advice to people I didn't even I just happen like we've gone through the stuff like wait a minute.

-- my son did you did you buy something to order something from China is like now.

So how do we stop this stuff I Google the name of this company and then it's all over the web people around the country saying that this this firm.

Has the has been deducting money from their accounts so what would your advice to people -- well first press -- The best thing to do is costly look at your statements now.

The issue is out there is that this is one just the tip of the iceberg where -- mention here.

-- happens time and time again I was actually at a presentation by the US Secret Service that has that responsibility for investigating these type of financial.

Electronic crimes.

And that the it is just overwhelming the amount of traffic the amount of attempts to get from overseas as I mentioned just.

You know people out there.

Selling these these card numbers were where they may have gotten from -- from an early Internet transaction -- from -- using -- at a store or gas station where someone has compromised information.

But this is an ongoing issue is that it's an epidemic around the world and unfortunately the best we can do as consumers -- as.

Custodians of -- own accounts is monitor that reported as soon as possible it's a pain in the neck I know it's a pain and -- have to call and cancel.

Your your -- to get a new one but that's the only way you can protect yourself and most companies when you do reports that.

Were reversed those until they complete their investigation to find -- fraud there remove that from your -- -- -- Deaderick caught your credit card yet happened the other.

The other thing that I would -- to everything the bills have which is absolutely on more.

Is still or credit card murdering companies out there well known companies that we'll send you an alert every time you critical artists.

Accessed -- something that seemed suspicious if someone tries to open the credit card using your Social Security number and now since you know you -- phone and I know about that.

But it's not you it gives you which he has to stop.

It before even gets going -- you have to watch those cars go and Tom thank you.
