And -- to another important political race this one for the United States senate tonight the big announcement right here on the record lawyer and businessman.
Alex high res joins us and I should add I've known Alex for a hundred years have not his wife for probably 200 years -- -- -- -- -- -- Are you ready you running -- -- to have from the state of Indiana which party.
From Delaware Delaware -- -- I'm an independent.
This a big push.
For independence in the country and -- you know New York city's remain independent to a source who was an independent.
I'm an independent I don't believe -- -- party and I think I can be to.
An incumbent Democrat has been -- his whole life.
I -- you have an unusual beginning platform first let's talk well I think senator should be paid.
I think senator should be paid for the days they work they're grossly overpaid in -- I think they're very lazy they work about a 140 days a year -- we pay them 12100 -- today.
The minimum wage is seven dollars and 25 cents an hour.
So I'm working person gets 56 dollars a day a senator gets 12100 dollars a day I think it's outrageous.
We pay them just for the days they work and their attitude be totally different and that's the first thing I'm gonna do I would be very popular RAI I don't care about I think it went.
Because I think the independence or and to do what's needed in the country.
I think game and Rhode Island chief he is an independent in their Vermont Bernie Sanders is -- depended.
And in Maine.
-- mr.
king is gonna win he's an independent I think the Gallup poll just showed that.
That's the independence in this in the United States are the highest percentage they've been in sixty years of 41%.
I think most people deep down inside really are independents.
I think they they want to pick the person not the party.
I don't think anyone's ever come to this country right -- and said you know.
I was and another country and -- I thought about what's coming to America to be a Democrat or Republican they come here to be Americans and the parties.
If -- I've been abusive.
-- you want Arab republic -- -- Democrat as an independent.
I think when comes to spending money and conservative.
I think when it comes to taking care of children and the elderly and probably more liberal but I really don't believing the party -- really don't.
Has so so wasted a radical they aren't I'm Heidi -- -- -- we all know they're lucky but I take that back yeah.
I think I think unlike a lot of people.
I want to look at the person in this is this person -- -- job.
I'm running against someone who spent 36 years -- a professional politician 36 years he's never had a job.
How can you relate to people in Delaware he's never ever work of -- I'm a working class guy worked my entire life my parents and even go to high school -- parents -- eighth grade education.
I worked washing dishes put myself through college.
I got a scholarship to law school and went to work for the justice prominent serve my country PU's new reserves from a working class guys still have three jobs.
And -- Exactly like the typical person in Delaware I'm not a professional politician and I think I can beat -- -- with fast and race and of course semitism and my personal connection like I'll be watching very carefully -- excellent.
I did -- and don't separate make sure I understand differences but that's nice to -- -- thank you very.
