-- it's now house speaker John Boehner is now responding to demands from House Minority Leader.
Nancy Pelosi with regard to the bush tax cuts so here's what's happening.
Democrats want to immediately extended the cuts to those earning less than one million dollars per year.
But allow the cuts for the wealthier Americans to expire so that the attacks hike.
For those folks Pelosi saying this quote.
It is unacceptable to hold tax cuts for the middle class hostage.
To extending multi billion dollar tax breaks for millionaires big oil special interests and corporations.
That ship jobs overseas has talked about that speaker Boehner saying that he does not raise taxes.
On anybody Monica Crowley's radio talk show host Christopher hot is a former aide to senator Chuck Schumer.
Both are Fox News contributors and could you blame anybody -- they said.
Fully you know here we go again I -- -- can what are these sides tell us on that we haven't heard before press.
-- you know I think is a little bit of more of the same but I don't see why.
99%.
Of Americans need to be held hostage to that 1%.
To get some money that they're not spending on creating jobs in this country.
And if -- really cares about the deficit.
He bring up Simpson Bowles or components of it and try to get that passed.
I don't understand all this posturing on this I think that what the speaker said -- woods yet let's get the satellite before the election to Republicans -- I think a lot of folks would be on board with bringing since symbols -- the table and I think they've they've like the president to sort of be the leading voice on that.
Not that was -- I don't -- does your 100% right it looks speaker Boehner has said.
That he's gonna bring a bill to the floor before the election to stop all -- these tax hikes in other words make all of big tax rates.
Permanent for every American to try to introduce some certainty into the economy to try to get growth going and to -- -- -- -- job creation going as well.
Look I think that the Democrats class warfare nonsense is getting really old really fast.
We all know that we don't have a revenue problem in this country we have a spending problem and even if we were able to confiscate 100%.
Of all of the assets of that 1% the so called millionaires and billionaires which.
By the way the president -- down to people's making his little list 200000 dollars here.
Even -- to confiscate -- Percent of their assets he was wouldn't even begin to be making a dent in the deficit and the national debt so let's get real -- -- problem in Washington it's not about taxing.
People I want to thank Monica are holding out at least twenty seconds -- -- class warfare this morning thank you Monica but I will -- -- Warfare -- -- losing -- how we've been losing for years to these millionaires and billionaires who are not spending the day I might going to creating jobs they're not creating job.
I have a question for Chris that.
You know if it's if it's true that we've seen a lot of -- -- -- -- fact that you know you could tax that that group of people a 100% sharing content.
And still not gonna -- problem.
So if -- digit wasn't supposed for a moment that that's true though.
Then my question to you is what is the reason for raising taxes on.
Well you know what is the reason for cutting programs that are worth I should tell you what isn't is -- because it's all.
Their job and crimes -- economy right now there is -- -- for the people what -- -- there is -- prime the economy there is no incentive for people were making that kind of money to put that money back into the market that you just put into savings account and I hold onto that regretfully and stick it where where will it -- I hinted that I -- -- sort of paying off that deficit -- wanna spin on things we need to create jobs in America because -- -- not creating jobs they've had -- how they can plot -- they have created a job.
That's that's like agony as they should be punished.
Because they haven't done what they're supposed to do with their own money.
And do you know why they haven't been able to create any jobs because of the incredibly oppressive policies that have come out of this administration.
And the Democrats who run congress since 2007 and only until recently the Democrats had complete.
Huge majorities in the congress this president will stack -- talking about he hasn't increased regulation he's made.
Up.
I think that -- flat out all.
-- has regulated more.
He has created more uncertainty in this economy that's what people are going to -- -- Chris I am old Bob Kerrey you've got taxes going up with regard to know that he's going -- all these new regularly including Obama care.
Chris you know the president has said that it should go down to 200000 dollars the you know in terms of letting the bush have to cut tax cuts expired she said.
So that was certainly raise taxes on -- a lot of people.
Well well what the congress has done with senator Schumer and speaker Pelosi have -- -- -- a million dollars we understand that there are a lot of small businesses that earn around the million dollars when we go above a million dollars we get into it -- area where it's not necessarily a small business if you're bringing home.
One million dollars a year you're not a small business you're a big business and it's time for you to start creating jobs instead of taking this tax cut that you -- twelve years and just putting in your bank or put it.
Sitting in your -- I don't I have to correct you on this when the two waves that bush tax cuts got through with bipartisan support in the congress 20012003.
That was followed by 54 consecutive months of job creation and growth and the truth is when you go back and look at the empirical evidence over many decades.
Every time you have -- marginal -- tax rates every time you cut the corporate tax.
Dot has produced job creation and economic rat race -- -- is actually pretty well that I -- -- yeah well well another time out how to Chris.
We started with fuel and with Monica thank you that -- -- you -- you that I flat back and Crowley.
