Happened.

The CBS affiliate -- Kansas -- this bad a couple of weeks ago called the news director and said hey.

The Veterans Affairs Department is -- treating me can you do a story out -- the news director said -- go down and talk to themselves.

He comes back in yesterday into the television station gets on the lobby -- with the news director and again asked the news director of please do a story.

On the VA the news director says nose to the man leaves and it comes back again you see in there -- lobby he unplugged the lamp.

Andy grabs it and smashes it through the glass doors 123 -- unlocked door from the inside he starts running through the halls.

Now what the engineers sees it runs through -- -- -- and calls 911 but in the meantime this guy's already going to the employees and he starts punching employ you see it there.

They try to grab they finally get him on the ground but once they get him on the ground somehow this guy pulls a -- Out of his pocket and he stabs two of the employees including general sales manager and -- -- the other sales managers.

And while there on top of them waiting for the cops to come the cops got there you can see a short time later he also -- A couple of other employees now we should note.

That he is now being evaluated for some psychological problems.

The knife wounds to the sales manager in the general sales manager were not considered life threatening and as you might imagine.

The CBS affiliate to -- had an exclusive lead story for last night.

Lives goodness a gentleman has been taken -- -- you know Tracy got to hand it to those employees who.

You know couple of them appeared it's significantly older perhaps -- that -- a guy with a knife and just went right after him to try to protect their colleagues.

You know you like to believe that you would handle -- the same but.

That's got to be a very scary thing look at look at that -- in the in the -- -- there.

That's terrifying.

It really is yeah it really is that -- -- -- -- get this guy on the ground you gotta wonder where the security was at the front desk now right.

Yet TV station W -- security but I'm not sure to small market like this that they have security in front of the doors are locked.

But usually bigger TV stations and bigger local markets always have security out front unclear if they had it in this case them.

Yeah well I don't know if there's ever ever silver lining to this kind of thing it's seeing people band together to help one another and then hopefully that that gentleman we'll get some help.
