Hello there I'm meteorologist Janice Dean taking a look at your forecast for this Friday heading into the long Memorial Day weekend.

Are we seeing cooler temperatures along the coast 66 today in Los Angeles moving -- -- that's where we're seeing warm dry windy weather so.

Across the southwest red flag warning still up for high fire danger.

Be very careful if you live in this area where to a severe to exceptional drought in a lot of these.

-- places across the southern plains 95 in San Antonio -- -- -- 93 in Little Rock it's going to be a warm up.

Long weekend satellite radar imagery shows you what north of the central plains or rather -- we're seeing the potential for severe weather across the central plains and the Great Lakes but otherwise for the southwest and much of the southern plains were going to remain very dry so again fire danger high in this region.

There's a future radar again we're looking at the potential for some showers some higher elevations snow.

Across the mountains.

-- about it in towards.

Portions of the northern Rockies but again across this region mainly dry.

And very warm and we're -- seeing those gusty winds so be careful out there because the fire danger is high this weekend have a great plan.
