-- -- right now to this story that's got heat yet again people are losing their jobs this morning.

This after a federal agencies spent almost a million dollars in taxpayer money.

In Las Vegas resulting in images like.

This won the GSA officials the heart of the scandal is now left the agency.

That's yet nearly seen here when he was living it up on the taxpayer dime in California congressman Jeff Evans for publishing.

San Francisco good morning -- -- there in California.

Good morning based revenue back you have called for major reforms -- put a stop to this kind of waste where in the world do you began.

Well I think the first thing you've got to do is create transparency I mean this is an agency that's got -- ten billion dollar slush fund.

That's outside of congress it's outside of appropriations.

And we just want the American public to be able to see how this money's being spent so we know when these lavish vacations go on were able to identify -- and hold those account.

Okay but -- element worked -- a California so he was a regional director.

And what The Washington Times reported this week is that there could have been about a dozen other leading members the agency out of Washington who were also there in attendance.

What's that telling.

Not only in attendance but should be fired as well and the question really is why is the administration keeping all of these individuals on.

You know they're still collecting not only their paychecks but they're building their pensions and we just feel like if you break the law if fuel have this type of abuse against the taxpayers' dollars.

Then you ought to be fired fired immediately we need to set some examples.

Okay now you're talking about first steps in this process I'm not quite clear where you begin just yet.

They've -- that the federal government is so massive and so large and this agency itself.

It was responsible for keeping an eye on how other government agencies.

Spent -- I mean the -- there is just insulting.

It is say they're supposed to set the standard for every other agency.

We have believed for some time that there -- many other agencies that are doing this very same thing in fact we've.

Just recently found out that the ninth Circuit Court.

Federal courts.

Have been holding -- an annual trip and my Alley they did one and and 2010 where they spent one point one million dollars snorkeling trips.

Yoga I mean -- Al whole long list of things that they were -- extravagantly spending money on and other planning on doing it again August 13 of this year so.

-- not only shows that there's a culture of this type of wasteful -- abuse.

But the -- -- that they're gonna continue to do it after they've been car.

It seems that the Vegas strip but it is the symbol and it represents a much bigger issue.

And what what was not peeled back -- earlier.

Good because if you start digging into this -- who knows what you're gonna fine.

Now absolutely and this went all the way up to the top the administration.

The president's.

-- handpicked people knew about this.

And they let him let it go on the last several years and so.

We're not only demanding the audits but we're gonna continue to dig to find out how many more of these.

-- happen in GSA how many happen outside of GSA.

And how many millions -- are being spent across the nation are not -- At that point you said the outrageous cycle of fraud waste and abuse within GSA is not limited to any one person.

Or does this lead that.

Well I think first -- -- has to justify their existence I'd like to abolish TSA all together.

I think enters private industry that can do their job and do it cheaper do a better.

But again they set the standard for every other agency in government so we you know we need of not only -- how deep this goes but we need to put a stop to it all together.

So you've got all conference it's almost like the GSA is in the official auditor here and you had you would have private industry handle that we'll see how far you get on that Jeff -- thank you for your time.

Out of California alleged -- program you bet ninety.
