Hello there I'm meteorologist Janice Dean taking a look at your Friday forecast as we head into long Memorial Day weekend.

Really warm temperatures today.

95 Montgomery 96 in Tallahassee 91 in Orlando 91 in -- 93 in Nashville.

I'm gonna hold onto these warm temperatures as we head into the weekend now I'm sure you've all heard about best if you live across the southeast.

And Florida we are looking at the props that development that something tropical within the next 24 to 48 hours this could be our next named system.

In the Atlantic basin and that name will be barrel so we have to watch that very carefully as.

Some of the computer models are showing that the system will eventually move into the south East Coast over the all weekend.

And it could be a tropical storm so certainly watching.

Off the coast of Florida and the southeast coast as we head into the Memorial Day weekend for now satellite radar imagery just shows a little bit scattered shower activity off the coast.

Mainly dry heading into the weekend but again you can -- see that -- world here in the radar.

Just off the coast so again.

Monitoring that area for possible developments.

Looks like the National Hurricane Center is giving this a 70% chance that we're gonna see this storm form into something tropical and then perhaps make its way inland.

Sunday into Monday so we will certainly keep watch over here in the Fox News extreme weather center.
