Hello there I'm meteorologist Janice Dean taking a look at your northeast forecast this Friday before Memorial Day weekend.

And for the most part we're dealing with warm temperatures across the Great Lakes in towards the northeast 75 in New York 84 in Harrisburg 86.

In Pittsburgh and look ruler as you -- north 666.

As -- high in Bangor Maine.

Taking a look at your satellite radar we have some unsettled weather unfortunately.

Not only today but heading for the weekends we at this trough in place.

So the chance of some scattered showers and -- thunderstorms will continue throughout the weekend it's not going to be a washout.

You'll probably get your barbecues and but just the pay attention to your local forecasts we're gonna see kind of scattered showers and -- thunderstorms.

Again throughout much of the weekend's severe threat today though extends across eastern Great Lakes.

In towards the interior northeast so upstate New York in towards Pennsylvania large hail damaging winds.

Don't think we're gonna see tornadoes but we could see.

Some rough thunderstorms later on this afternoon -- -- -- future radar.

As we see one assistant exit and then again it's -- -- be sort of unsettled as we headed into Saturday and Sunday as another system sort of clips us across the Great Lakes -- just keep that in mind.
