33 years -- today after -- on pace disappeared an arrest was made it.

You -- year old Pedro Hernandez a former convenience store clerk.

Has confessed according to police so how could someone commit such a horrific crime and go on to lead a regular life.

Let's ask criminals plus hash brown pat great to see you.

Good morning pat help us understand this personality according to police reports -- going to what they've told the media this -- Pedro Hernandez had never met.

A -- -- before that day he saw a six year old.

Heading to a bus stop.

And he decided to lure him to a basement because he said he had the urge to kill him what is that.

Well and it's one of two things one is his actress child sex predator.

Who then did something terrible to the little boy and then kill them afterwards if that's what you have to probably do.

And it just doesn't wanna tell anybody about it because he doesn't wanna bet that part or is just lying about the whole thing -- really didn't do anything to the child at all.

But why can't he just a sociopath who really did have that sort of on -- urged that today.

Well how well you know we do say psychopath -- Enjoying killing -- usual -- associated with a little childish -- -- sexual component to it but they just I don't wanna say that -- so I I just don't really believe that that we just wanted to kill a child and that was it.

I don't I tried that -- listen I don't want to believe that and I don't want to believe that it's possible is somebody.

Just has this overwhelming -- and then does something so heinous but doesn't it.

Surprise you.

And this got Hernandez was then out of the spotlight for 33 years is that suggests he didn't do anything else to any children and and usually when there's -- had a file.

They can't -- this for 33 more years.

And -- you know really it is very -- I don't really -- the story that that's all that would've happened if he really was guilty of the crime and it doesn't mean he didn't commit other crimes it just means you haven't caught after all if he did this when he wasn't caught.

He's there was -- so I mean I think just because thirty years has got by doesn't mean a whole heck of a lot we know there's child predators are caught and the 56 years old and then they go back and find that killed.

A dozen children are -- -- and and we think this had no idea with a guy.

Let's talk about his family for a second there are media reports today that in fact he told them.

That he had done something terrible years ago in New York City he even told them I killed a child.

What is the psychology of family members who wouldn't turn him man.

Well it probably I don't know that they believed him and I don't know that I believe have have at this point I don't know they have any evidence that he is telling the truth.

You know not take any kind of crazy act case which is big in the media and you're gonna have somebody crawl out of someplace and claimed they killed the person member of everything go back is Jonbenet Ramsey -- -- crazy dude who showed up that oh yes I did Jonbenet Ramsey NN.

And it wasn't him.

I -- some people dislike the attention that the drama around it so if he's if he's got problems of mental problems schizophrenia other things like that it maybe he just impressive thing he didn't do -- -- maybe that's what they did it -- at I don't think so.

So his attorney -- says that he is prone to loosen nations both visual and auditory what would convince you pat that he is in fact the killer.

At this point probably nothing because I don't know I heard that the police said he had information about the crime that no one else no I don't know what that -- possibly -- I have absolutely don't know I mean there's no physical body.

They don't have a crime scene anymore so what can -- tell them that so unique.

That he couldn't got at someplace -- -- -- bad information I just don't really -- -- I -- they had this -- suspect for all these years until they busted -- that basement and they were so sure I think that they're gonna find that little boy's remains and that -- they're -- -- -- original suspect what happened they came up with -- also another blow up this -- confessed he did -- he's got the information.

I don't know -- I believe it I don't know that is on hold up in court all right we shall see what happens obviously in this case have so much for joining us -- appreciated.
