We're saluting the troops this Memorial Day weekend in honor of all those who have sacrificed their lives for our freedoms.
And in honor of those who've lost their lives on 9/11 our next guest.
He's running 100.
Miles in hopes of raising 100000 dollars.
For three very special organizations.
Starts at 8 AM this morning at ground zero joining us now.

Serious training but how does one train for this.
Well if I had to train for a hundred miles are running a hundred miles I think it would scare me and I don't think I would want to run a hundred miles but.
The bulk of my training has been crossed fit so.
I work out across that first set any great -- -- have couple strength coaches have put me in the right frame of mind and get my body in shape for this.
Any doubts that you'll make it the full 100 miles we're seeing here flipping over tires not your average work -- With the weighted vest -- that's right so.
You just got to get yourself in the right frame of mine and my focus on this it's really going to be.
Not only raising 100000 dollars for the September -- -- and museum the Marine Corps scholarship foundation as well as the disposable Harris project but -- Dakota Meyer scholarship is correct it which is part of the Marine Corps scholarship foundation.
But to raise the level of awareness that we need to give to.
Our troops who endured so much stress and all this stuff in battle and still endure.
All the stress and and and still -- battle now is wounded warriors what inspired you to do this you know I came across some members recently -- -- -- There's close to 15100.
Service members who have lost one -- multiple limbs during -- Afghanistan and it's estimated that there's gonna be 300000.
Service members.
Who suffer from posttraumatic stress and traumatic brain injury in those numbers to -- -- staggering.
So I felt you need to step up because these are the men and women post 9/11 who stepped up and said raise your hands and I'll do it.
I'll go to rock I'll go to Afghanistan I'll fight this fight against the global war on terror that's our responsibilities -- as Americans.
To support them -- take care of them because they're the ones who put themselves in the -- of danger.
And we need to support them.
