Welcome back everybody and Julie -- thanks for watching America.

Foxnews.com.

Live and we want to now go to biased -- And go back to Ellen Ratner joins us in Washington.

All right so.

Circuits are running wild is the topic of today's bias bass and I guess.

And SN BC's Chris Hayes said this weekend that he feels uncomfortable calling.

All fallen soldiers.

Heroes and I can only imagine what you have to -- -- that that's right basically.

I he said that -- -- that would legitimize the war in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Now it's really interesting because it is biased.

Because Rush -- you know said that remark about miss fluke at Georgetown university and people went completely not -- so far nobody is gone.

Wild or anything about Chris pays the media's been asleep on that.

Even know in terms of bias.

That kind of remark would normally get people.

Well you know it if it was in a different time.

Completely up in arms but the media has has just because it perhaps was on MSNBC or something the media completely ignored it yeah I mean it.

Look at it whether you agree with the war or not you have to agree with the fact that the men and women who are sacrificing their lives for our freedom what do you buy into this war not our fearless I mean there is no.

Questions -- it it there should be no question really in anybody's mind certainly not someone.

On a news program that should be expressing an opinion.

Right and then in the other direction.

Rudy Giuliani made a remark about -- sort of went off message.

When it came to.

-- to -- governor Romney and job creation in Massachusetts.

And people haven't really said much about him although they went nuts around.

And mayor Cory Booker when he off went off message for the Democrats.

So I think we're finding bias from the media on both sides media often picks and chooses who they like and then their quiet.

When it doesn't go their way.

-- let's talk more about that I mean Rudy Giuliani who's now Romney's arrogant.

If he goes off message she compares job growth during his tenure.

Here in New York as a far superior record to Romney's otherwise decent record.

I mean how are how are wasteful to take that.

Well I you know again I think that that what we're seeing is we're seeing.

That -- for some reason they decided to go off a -- I after after mr.

-- but not after.

Giuliani and and -- you know some of that may be.

That in many respects.

Out because of mayor Giuliani's.

Exemplary record after 9/11.

Most people just won't go after now when he did run for president etc.

but you know mayor Giuliani's kind of a hero and so I think the press is a little bit.

-- -- -- To touch him in the same way that they would mayor Booker by the way this weekend I was at a graduation.

-- Bard College -- mayor Booker was the speaker.

The guy went on for forty minutes and it warned that many press there and I thought well had the press been there.

Maybe they -- got after him a little more as well forty minutes at a graduation its -- on a hot Saturday not a wise idea.

Yeah I mean there are a lot of of current political.

-- candidates and an end and and people in office that obviously are going to have the media on their side President Obama clearly has.

The -- mainstream media on his side so I mean I guess we can't really fault.

And you know Rudy Giuliani having a lot of people in his back pocket a lot of the media are in bed if you would prefer to play well I mean I think.

Meet him I think the media are often reluctant kids -- criticize somebody who.

Making -- American hero what is interesting as we pointed out initially.

What happened with somebody who says something about.

About.

About what happened in Afghanistan Iraq.

That kind of thing.

And -- people aren't going after him I'm just I'm actually quite shocked about -- out all right Ellen Ratner thank you very much for joining us today you act Ellen Ratner folks by the way and I guess you're gonna be on FOX News Watch is well.
