I was one for the record books.

They're Frank Keating.

Claiming his third Indianapolis 500 went after -- last lap wheel to wheel with the Japanese guy to pool was state out.

Here to talk about that fantastic finish and the thrill of winning the 500 is the winner himself welcome -- welcome to the -- Which -- -- how much -- did you guys.

Not much that much Sunday night was two hours I think it was seven -- Monday night and last night was separate but up at 3 o'clock this morning to -- -- -- man but -- whirlwind so tell us about this finish because -- was a crash right before -- Yeah absolutely but until last laps afterwards and a second I was -- and he made a move to to to pass into turn one.

He went on the inside of me and I saw him -- -- must pollsters tell me was there.

-- start to move up the track a little but I gave him.

And just enough room that he could get in there plus a little bit and it doesn't like did you even go because I didn't we're both gonna crash.

-- OK that's good -- -- and then -- moved up a little bit more and luckily it did because he then -- on his own and as he's funny he clipped the side in my car I've managed to keep control of it so.

He was.

He made you know -- it was it an aggressive move this last lap of Indy 500 but that was -- -- -- -- them -- -- -- and -- enough room.

That can upset plottage that would mean because -- -- Michael he he couldn't make the pass that to any commandment that pass on me ten laps -- -- had no problem with soul and you know as I said I give him plenty of and is one of the things in the region is what -- come in second rather than -- not finishing at all costs -- Indy 500 that I -- I don't were you put first you know hopefully I know he knew he had to go you read that same thing so yeah I did from the same thing -- had to do that.

-- during the race because at one point I had to -- -- start -- -- fifteen laps I was at last because of a spot in the pits but to make that move quite a launcher in the race.

And Tony just said Tony -- came after you mean you guys girlfriends when you're not racing but when -- racing it's different story.

The interesting thing is the top three finishers.

-- all best friends and you were very close to Dan Wheldon who passed away last year in the crash right yet what was the meaning of you waiting for his man.

Well the whole month.

It was a it was a celebration of that really and you know the fans who go into it that the teams and drivers who were the -- -- sunglasses at that used to Wear.

And it was a celebration of him so I was I was lucky I can dedicated to him.

And my friend Michael ones -- secure olds that some of my team manager who died of cancer days after events of and it was it was great to see who that is the love and respect for the fans had for -- and and just still showed that and them.

It was it was very touching his wife wrote in the in the victory lap -- yet Susie came Reinemund was actually nine and and and Chip Ganassi and we we we did that and it was I hope she get to see attributes to it to her husband and she did and that was it was nice she she wanted to do that.

And for you it's back to racing faith that you need to cut different -- -- new race this weekend yeah absolutely.

My teammate Scott Dixon was already -- a target car yesterday in Milwaukee when I was spent in Texas -- media stuff but.

Tonight heading to Dayton to Dallas but it was -- Detroit what -- -- -- -- It's in Detroit this weekend so if it's straight back to work well congratulations thank you -- real pleasure to have him -- Frankie congratulation the 500 winner now back to work.

Thanks so much --
