Hi everyone I'm meteorologist Maria Molina out from the -- -- weather center with your forecast for the southern plains as well as -- southwest and it is going to be another scorcher out across.

The southern plains were ahead of a cold front still -- a cold front you typically get those southerly winds pulling and that warmer air and that's exactly what we have going on today 96 -- -- high over in Dallas 97 in San Antonio.

And into the triple digits for Midland Texas we -- expecting a -- this afternoon.

At a 104 degrees and take a look for -- -- release Mississippi Louisiana Arkansas and Tennessee also expecting high temperatures this afternoon.

Into the ninety's so again a scorcher out there you're headed outdoors for long period of time and make sure to bring water bottle and stay hydrated.

-- head west we're also on the warm side an Arizona Phoenix 101 for your high.

Nine -- in the city of Las Vegas and Vegas you're gonna be seen those highs on the rise here.

Over the next few days into the weekend so keep that in mind you'll be seeing those highs into the triple digits.

Very soon otherwise Californian very pleasant Los Angeles of anyone for your high and 67 degrees.

Will be a high temperature over in San Francisco as far as rain goes southwest and very quiet just getting a lot of sunshine out there.

Across parts of the -- so that's what we do have some troubles early today we had him yesterday as well as severe weather across parts of Oklahoma Texas.

And -- Kansas and you can expect another round or expect to see another round.

Of severe weather to data storm prediction center has issued.

A moderate risk for severe weather across parts of Oklahoma and northern Texas so keep this in mind you do have a pretty good chance.

Of some of these storms producing large hail and damaging winds.

And even some tornadoes so of course take those warnings seriously throughout the day today already seeing some have -- storms.

Across northeastern Texas earlier this morning NASA had ash into the next several days Thursday morning those storms will be gone from the planes in behind quieter weather for your morning commute.

It'll be -- across parts of Missouri and Illinois and further off toward the west across the southwest still very dry.

As we head into -- Thursday morning and also your Friday morning and there's actually an elevated threat.

For us some wild fires to spread rapidly -- some -- -- warnings in effect.

Across parts of Colorado because just how dry it's going to be.

How warm and also because of some gusty winds -- by Friday morning expect the return to some showers and thunderstorms across parts of central Kansas and Oklahoma.
