Peres's choice segments we -- pleased to have the junior senator from Florida Marco Rubio in the city -- this evening is the author of the upcoming book on American son.

Which will be how in the stores everywhere on June 19.

Are so everywhere you go people.

Asked about vice president deal.

You know I asked you -- a few months ago has gone.

Should I continue to ask you is it getting boring now.

Now what's happened the differences we have a nominee now some trying to be very respectful of their process and what they're going through of them are gonna -- -- to the convention because they gotta have something.

To get people watch -- and that's why he deserves for us to be respectful process so.

Journalists like you're gonna ask for those of us you know you just don't -- Let me give you two things -- two guys have said about you on this program you know Charles Krauthammer now a -- market right.

We'll -- is if your past.

That you have to accept you have to because if you didn't you would be letting your country down.

That's that's -- any kind of predicts that if you are as she will accept.

What do you think about that point of view well I just let him and I'm not even talking about the whole process and I respect him very much and what he says she really disrespectful -- you for.

State family reasons per stories wouldn't you would you consider that to be -- -- trouble you that -- you country calls and you can't answer.

The -- why hate to have being in the no spin zone and I just -- -- that I really don't mind I really tried not to even comment on the whole process I think I really believe Mitt Romney deserves to have a process where the rest of us out here aren't just talking about it and given our opinions are by process of elimination.

You know making this -- is that all right.

Have -- answer me this if you would that has to be consideration for every.

But everybody who's an elective office if their country calls and asks.

Right you have to.

Look I've never been an opposition all elected obviously I'm being very respectful the processes are going through and try not to comment on I will say this stuff.

Mitt Romney is someone who has made a lot of good decisions in his life consistently it's a record of good decisions in his personal life -- business life his political life.

And I think he's -- makes a great -- -- there -- now Dennis Miller -- coming up behind you a couple of segments he basically says he's gonna -- you.

If -- -- and you turn it down he's gonna be mad at you he's gonna there's going to be anger personal anger for the same reason Krauthammer -- I don't want to comment that that.

That's what Miller says right now Florida is a key state in in this election if if -- Obama wins Florida I think he's gonna win the election.

The gay marriage thing seems to have -- -- in Florida do you believe that we'll have issued -- and -- are well it's not the most important issue but it's an important issue of people we have a constitutional amendment in Florida the defines marriage.

As the union between one man and one woman is a very particular institution.

I think a lot of Floridians believe that and so I think that you'll see reflected in in the -- and some have not in the Hispanic community in the Cuban community where you come from.

Is that if you.

Yeah I don't think that's these it's gonna decide the election I think if you asked to but he is their passion behind that they I think so but certainly -- but I don't want to -- -- -- that it's going to be I wanna decide the election it's an important issue and did you ask people they will tell you they believe for Hispanic American I think so yes -- again I don't speak for black Americans.

They don't like gay marriage we Southern California we saw that all over the place.

Now.

In Florida itself.

If it's a split -- like four different states Florida you got the nor is he got Dade County which is like a universe unto itself.

You've got -- central part of the state east and West Coast.

That's -- is it going to be a dog fight or do you think the Republicans are gonna pull away now Florida's a very competitive state it has been now for two decades it'll continue to be competitive and whoever wins is gonna have to earn that they'll be close.

I honestly believe not just because I support him I honestly believe that Mitt Romney's gonna win Florida and therefore when -- why do you believe that -- if Barack Obama won last time what would be the economy going to be the -- yeah I think so the president is running while the biggest difference I think is the same as it is nationally Barack Obama in 2008 was.

You know an idea he was this post partisan uniter he's got -- America got it -- now only a record his rhetoric I think it's like anybody else in Washington is is did this of dividing Americans against each other Floridians aren't gonna like I've -- daylight to conservative guy like he would be elected conservative governor -- in Floridians so it's an interest in -- I I tend to think it will go to Romney but he's better he's got to be -- game.

Mitt -- -- pulling 20% among Hispanic Americans across the country that's a disaster.

And that's primarily because of his tough -- stance and you know you gotta go home if you're -- Alley and you got to self deport if you want us to consider.

-- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- Part of it is -- -- Barack Obama better he's been around eight years Romney's -- into the equation for many but here's what I believe first of all over but.

Hispanics don't support illegal immigration and I think that that historically they've -- want to you mean you know what I think that tone matters and so -- -- Republicans need to do to -- a better job of talking about what -- for -- for a legal immigration system that -- I think governor -- begun to do that and I think all Americans want to see illegal immigrant he's got to come up to about 3035%.

And that's going to be tough for him to do not gonna see -- in Tampa.

I write them if you are the VP guy -- got to give me the first interview and you want -- I want to do first and here anyway yeah you're right I got.

We'll be down -- have a thank you.
