Governor Mitt Romney hit the magic number last night's Texas when puts him over the top two in the GOP.

Presidential nomination and is more good news for him -- women are finally warming up to him.

A new ABC Washington Post poll finds governor Romney gained thirteen points and popularity offer women in just one month going from 27%.

To 40%.

And -- Obama lost seven points among women dropping from 58% to 51%.

Now real love is the mayor -- tell this phrase you're taught any congressional candidate she joins us nice to see you think -- about what we're -- what.

-- -- -- Well I -- a young guns program -- -- -- part of the young good teams so I was here to Iraq just didn't mingle and and get to meet some members say you did it -- -- -- from about your state -- While we've got some major problems in Washington.

And I believe it's up to us I am -- I mean us I mean people it's up to us to fix it.

We've got out of control spending.

We were we're certainly looking at what we can deal when it comes to energy independence and in deregulating.

-- -- the businesses that produce so much.

And and we've got to fix it thinks I what's it says no surprise that the -- Republican Party has not had a lot of African Americans especially after America wins if you're electing the first.

African American Republican congressman I suppose you know that that's right here.

I have a unless this is it that you -- he had trouble in the community because you're running as Republican.

Where have you been the victim of any discrimination.

Gosh not you -- you have to understand I was elected 60% of the votes in the state.

As you -- the city of Saratoga Springs not because I'm black and female.

Because I took -- city from the brink of bankruptcy.

And made it financially stable is because of my policies and things haven't been able to put in place to make sure that were financially stable if fastened back on your parents are -- from Haiti and here is how much -- pockets ten dollars and thought my father told me ten dollars is what he came here at.

And is -- and bush sure about pusher I don't really look up to in politics well you know and politics gosh that there are a lot of people that have -- pave the way.

You look at Reagan and you you think about some of the things that he's been able to do but really when I look at people -- pocket when I look at.

The way I've grown up but it's -- my parents my husband and my children.

That really drives my principles.

My family what do think governor around music is -- -- -- candidate party Lisa looks that way -- -- number last night we think the governor Romney well I think he's doing great it's certainly.

Not a surprise to me that he's gained so much and when it comes to women -- I mean he -- that incredible husband and -- He's absolutely in love with his wife he loves his children dedicated father.

And as successful businessman -- it's not this not a surprise to me was he your first choice yes he has actually my -- towards -- All I -- between -- ever let -- Republican I don't mean between -- -- -- I mean when you're in when there -- the field.

When there -- a number of candidates running and for the Republican nomination quite kept my eyes and ears open lane certainly listen to all of the thinks all of the ideas at the other candidates have.

But again heat or where to bring about the economy the -- district is really concerned about the economy were concerned about the amount of spending that we happen.

He's really the one that's best equipped to help us through that situation I mean he's a successful businessmen he.

And I certainly knows his way around around that area and I think that that's what it's going to take so what's on the President Obama -- I wise and tear -- YY you Republican not Democrat -- -- supported the president what.

Well there are many reasons why -- mean it just look at where the country's going right now -- haven't downgraded the economy.

Last month for every person who found a job three people stop looking for work.

They just given up and think about -- Greta you've got 23 million Americans either unemployed underemployed.

-- simply gave up why.

I think it was suppose we hope and change.

And now it's just you've got -- and -- you've got you've got fear that you're going to lose everything.

And blame congress for everything -- blame somebody else it's never one person's problem everybody's so concerned about their PR.

Is it is he -- has -- done anything that you admire.

Well I certainly admire him as a person I think I believe that he's trying to do the right being.

I think that there unintended consequences.

His policies haven't worked Obama care certainly over 60% of Americans didn't.

Don't like Obama care we're talking about now there's this so called war on women.

Where they where you're you're trying to get -- hurt to provide.

Could -- the specific insurance package for women.

And we should be talking about what the government should be forcing any private entity to be involved I mean it's.

We if there is there's not very much to admire because we're in such terrible condition right now but I respect the office and I respect him as a person.

How in a pet project and and I lock people come to Washington it was an experience and I've had a sick child to -- aside and -- because of health care they served in the military -- Is -- -- that's going to say you're burning desires of this and this is why I wanna come to Washington.

Yes I realize that my daughter who -- -- your sold by the time she have a family of her own -- only 900000.

Dollars to get us out of -- -- her portion of the debt.

We we've got children who -- would never suspect any adult to do them any harm.

What's got streams in the world I wanna be teachers they want to be doctors.

And that -- saddle them with the step we can no longer kick the can down the road and I believe as adults as parents.

We are responsible -- moral obligation to do something.

How the numbers other polls and -- -- -- -- and I say again what we haven't called the last poll came out so that we're very close the -- before convention I believe that we're problem.

I believe that well we're winning.

I believe the police -- it came out with a poll had a happy about 65%.

Matheson around 37% except.

We're doing really well.

And I believe that the message that we have about fiscal discipline limiting government personal responsibility is resonating throughout the fourth district well let me watching now they say -- -- of course say yours a -- if fasting because set here first this guy is fun to see how the first how -- do so.

At good luck in the race think --
