Now that the -- the president says dude he's got to do list for you that he says includes.
Some wind power he'd like some some subsidy for this for the wind energy business in there.
Certainly in states like Kansas.
And definitely an Iowa wind power has been helpful to some folks.
But you who are behind a plan that says no no not only do that but no to subsidies for any kind of energy what's the deal.
Well Chris I I've I've -- to do list for the president as well I was she'd.
-- -- Can get the federal government out of the way so we can really create jobs and stop spending taxpayer money would be silly stimulus ideas might my vision for American energy -- -- to get the government out of the business of picking winners and losers.
If -- offered legislation to get rid of every tax credit for oil and gas.
For wind for solar for biomass you name it get rid of it.
And when we do that we'll have the affordable energy that Americans need that American American manufactures demand for them to create jobs here in the United States.
Now you you spent some time in the energy business.
And certainly if if if -- plane -- to go into effect.
There would be brought disruption and all sorts of sectors -- there that because the government is now such a player in the energy business.
It's been forty years that the government's been trying to direct US energy.

Did it has been a long time I hear that from my friends in the wind energy industry -- -- -- I believe in them more than they believe in themselves -- -- confident.
Engineer that and the engineers and innovators.
Will go out and provide the marketplace the energy that they want.
That the president and talk about what it means when you -- -- particular energy or you take taxpayer money to subsidize a particular energy source.
It means higher costs for every consumer for every family trying to cool their home on a hot day.
In Kansas -- in Washington DC.
This is that -- energy policy and and bad tax -- to.
There there won't there won't be disruption what they'll be as a marketplace that will respond to true customer demand for affordable energy.
And it'll be American energy we've got an enormous energy Renaissance going on in America.
One -- questions for the congressman.
Yeah -- congressman I was struck by this proposal because.
Just recently the Obama administration said they wanted to eliminate subsidies for the oil companies because oil company profits were so high and they're worried about speculation.
Is this the same argument resist these same argument coming from a different direction.
You know the the president won the president's plan is actually to do just the opposite of what I'm proposing the president wants to single out.
A handful of large integrated energy companies and punish them for providing affordable energy for Americans.
My legislation absolutely takes away tax credits from the oil and natural gas industry that takes gets rid of all of them.
But my legislation doesn't do what the president does the president says.
Fossil fuels we don't like you we'll see you ought to eliminate coal we want to eliminate natural gas we want.
To -- ban fracking and regulated in ways that are unimaginable the federal level that's a very different vision for affordable energy for America than the president.
-- one -- question for you congressman you know a lot of people point to China India Brazil.
As nations that.
Are very deeply into subsidizing.
Energy -- in there and development avenging their country drilling even alternative energy sources.
Would this put American business at an international.
Disadvantage.
One I came from my before I came to congress now seventeen months ago I was in the manufacturing sectors the world I I lived in for sixteen years we've we've made stuff.
What we have a global marketplace.
-- does is our potential customers I was making airplane parts for the first decade.
Most of the airplanes we were selling were being sold of these very same folks we have to have free trade and if they choose that particular industry that will ultimately come back.
-- to harm them and and the consumers in their country what we really need to do far manufactures here in America this put it on that level playing field.
And create free trade agreement so that they can have an opportunity.
To sell their products all across the world I know American innovators will be successful about.
If you lived in Wichita you know Omar ready but if you don't you do now congressmen -- thank you very much for making some times where it's -- a great day.

Really Williams the question is this.
Everybody wants talk about energy it's a great topic.
For both sides because the president wants to talk about.
Cleaner greener domestic all of those things Romney wants to talk about it's a war.
On coal as a war on domestic oil its war on fracking all of those things.
But the good news for the president issues that now paying three dollars and forty cents for a gallon of gas seems cheap I never -- It's three dollar and forty cents a gallon gas that was -- -- -- like war.
-- -- -- To fill the trunk.
So if gas prices.
Are going in this direction.
Sadly -- it's a result of reduced demand because the economy stinks but if gas prices doing the stretch is going to be harder for Republicans to squeeze -- -- right.
Correct on that part of the ticket but remember -- the approach I -- -- did -- really good job of explaining what -- Romney's what is it what Ronnie wants.
That's about jobs right that's.
-- that's suggesting that with the XL pipeline.
That's suggesting with additional exploration here in the United States you would generate American jobs and he would help with the high unemployment rate.
That's separate and some heart from the idea that you know what the gas prices are too high.
And easy is that in part it's because the -- -- but you know it's also an issue about global demand right and that if you raise the prices too high that the oil companies they all actually I'll probably go down -- the demand sinks so.
They have to make a choice they're and that the White House alternative the White House take on this.
As suspected by the Republicans is they really don't want Americans to be overly.
Large consumers of oil because it damages the environment and they want us to move to alternative.
But I wanna tell you if you lived in Wichita Kansas and drove a long way to work -- a lot of folks out in.
-- out in regular America driving a long way to get where they're going.
You would not you would not dig the idea of some five dollar gas not even equipment added jobs for your pro Americans -- that's it that's it you know what's you know Tuesday about -- voting Booth -- -- all by yourself.
You all about it.
