They sat down and waited -- on the note from the jury which said that they had reached.
A decision on count three but I could not decide on the other five counts of this trial.
It was sent out to the judge decides she is gonna struck and -- charges music to go back and deliberate some more she heard from both sides prosecution and the defense on their arguments out what she should do.
But she ultimately decided to give an Allen charge and you start -- to go back and continued their deliberations on the remaining five counts -- what -- John Edwards who describe his demeanor as he was waiting that for that jury note that jury verdict.

He was not happy to hear that they were hung on all the rest and definitely want them to go backing continue their deliberations and make any commenting from the lawyers after the judge.

In terms of in a reaction to that decision.
Well there are no comments after she sent them back except for the fact that when she did ask them what she felt about -- meant for deliberation.
The prosecution lead lead prosecutor David Arnott said it appears that they were not -- and -- requested that they do go back.
Lead defense attorney for John Edwards Abbe Lowell definitely countered that immediately saying they have spent many hours it seems to -- -- they don't need to be told.
The anymore conscientious he said he noted that it was not three days that there are deliberating but nine that they did not need to go back and be instructed -- deliberate any further.
But the judge said she still wanted to -- -- deliberate some more.
-- before LA -- wanna ask you that a lot of our viewers writing in to ask because in this in this trial there's an issue about whether the Israeli -- campaign contributions.
As the prosecution alleges or were these just deaths from bunny Mellon and Fred baron.
That -- -- they just -- John Edwards and they want to help them out they would have made these even if you if he were not running for president.
And a lot of our viewers want to know.
Did John Edwards declared these donations on his tax returns did that information come -- evidence one way or the other.
That evidence -- not coming into that it did not come in -- evidence in this case I can tell it the defense as a whole is maintaining.
That these were 100% -- they were not at all campaign contributions.
We have had some.
Evidence brought in about tax returns with bunny Mellon -- young Andrew Young being the recipients of these funds but nothing on dot Edwards.
Personal tax returns because this money -- -- -- went to John Edwards it went to his campaign an aide Andrew Young instead.
