That the 84 year old who was used to ruling in this country for -- thirty years living a very posh life suddenly now faced with the rest of his life in prison in the courtroom.
It was chaos there was a lot of pushing and shoving over the fact.
That Mubarak's two sons were acquitted.
A fraud charges and also that a number of the lower level security officials.
Who were -- -- trial for the same crime the murder of those 800 protesters -- Peters square.
Were acquitted that didn't go off very well with the crowds here.
In and around -- we were outside the courtroom where there were a number of protesters.
Mostly the families of those people who died inside -- square and they've -- Mubarak executed although it 84 years old the -- a lot of people here in Egypt.
Who thought that was a real possibility this afternoon there had been more riots in and around Cairo a couple of police vehicles.
Had been destroyed by protesters and we're told there's a large march scheduled in a couple of hours for talk here square to protest the verdicts in the acquittals.
Of those security officials going forward though this is a very very tense time for Egypt.
Elections here are scheduled for just about two weeks from now.
