Hi everyone I'm meteorologist Maria -- -- -- the fox extreme weather center with your forecast for the northwest.

And also the midwest and we're gonna seed to completely contrasting air masses today across both regions.

The coast of the Pacific northwest from Seattle down -- Medford is that we have an area of low pressure as intensifying out across this region in front office or the west.

Across the Pacific Ocean and it's really pulling in a lot of moisture and also some cool air some effort Portland Seattle.

Upper bound Lowell sit low sixties and upper fifties out across this region for the afternoon hours and you're also -- have to deal with a lot of cloud cover.

And also some areas of -- so grab the -- is going to be kind of a nasty -- out there today.

But that hasn't heading -- -- very warm -- for -- -- down into portions of Utah's Salt Lake City expecting high temperature almost in the triple digits this afternoon.
