Let's talk about a real show of sportsmanship have you seen this video.
When Megan Vogel saw her competitor.
Pardon McNabb -- a high school track race in the last fifty meters rather than just run bastard to beater.
She stopped.
To help her cross the finish line.
For its third straight up from Columbus, Ohio are high school track runners mega mogul and ardent McNabb ladies -- both -- good morning -- it's so pardon.
Tell us a little bit about what what happened in the last fifty meters where you fell down on the track.
Well and my body just kinda gave out.
I -- look about around just after six laps -- -- in trouble.
My legs started might cramp up and they were.
I wasn't in -- to go much farther and they finally -- out the last fifty meters and I finally just fell and I think twice in -- -- she helped me the thing.
That's right down you went -- Megan.
You -- having not a great race which is extraordinary because I just about an hour earlier you had a personal best in the 16100.
You won that in the girls championship.
But then in this race an hour later you -- running out of gas and pick up the story from there.
Yeah I mean it is.
And after running a personal best is kind of -- an emotional -- I have probably had a half hour to get ready for my next race.
And so I mean after about two blocks from the -- -- I just I was done I mean I can attest this kind of had me my legs were done so.
I just capitalism must place from us there.
And saying you saw -- go down in front of you she was beat Kenya and you saw when she went down and what did you do.
I kind of tried to speed out to so I can hopper to the finish line.
Wait a minute I thought the whole idea -- you're supposed to beat her because not only did you hug her and essentially dragged her across the finish line.
But you had her so that she finished before you.
Yeah I mean she was in front of me the whole -- so she deserved events in front of me no matter what at time.
Pardon when she picked you up what were you think.
I was pretty amazed to use mom.
Is amazing I didn't expect that at all most people are just run by -- but she definitely.
Stepped up and she.
Hoped.
Me out so no -- really nicer.
You know as so many people have watched this video and they've gone you know what that is such it's such a great.
Example of good sportsmanship.
Megan what what's the moral of the story.
Of what you did with ardent.
I mean I just think if everybody can help somebody Rainier if -- just -- and somebody I mean.
I just think everybody should do that -- -- somebody it's nice gesture to do I guess and added I think it would.
Turn out to be this huge sand and -- great enough on national TV together -- We'll hear -- to tell your story it is not a good one at that a great teachable moment as they say pardon me math.
