Keep the vote -- -- just one of the problems confronting the Obama reelection team chief White House correspondent Ed Henry looks at.

Some of the others in what has been described by analysts on both sides as a lackluster launch.

Another day another clarification from a Democrat appearing at odds with President Obama -- extending through tax cuts for the rich.

Larry Summers did not specifically call for extending them but suggested -- -- could further stall the recovery we've got to make sure.

That we don't take that gasoline out of the tank just like former President Bill Clinton Summers stressed it would not be fair to extend tax cuts for the wealthy long term.

Bill Clinton also left the door open to a short term extension to help the economy and move along debt talks on.

Think what what it means is they will have to extend.

Then they'll probably put everything off until early next year like Clinton Summers issued a clarification making clear I fully support president Obama's position on tax cuts.

The latest -- in a shaky launch to the president's reelection campaign including a tough defeat in Wisconsin.

And a house race in New Jersey where the candidate backed by the president was beaten by a Democrat endorsed by Clinton.

Who's off message comments play into Republican hands -- pretty obvious that the economy needs the certainty.

Of the extension of the current tax rate for at least a year the president has also been battered by Friday's weak jobs report -- a stock market's slide that before today's late rally saw the Dow dropped back to its December level.

The Dell though is up more than 50% from when the president took office -- Vice President Biden today asserted the economy is slowly coming back.

We have to do more we have to keep fighting through this period of transition.

And -- got off a recession we hear.

The Obama camp is trying to find a silver lining from Wisconsin.

The Fox News exit poll shows the president beat presumptive Republican nominee Mitt Romney on who can better improve the economy 43% to 38% although neither got 19%.

-- who can better help the middle class the president leads 46% to 37%.

Although neither got 16%.

Wisconsin is also one of many battlegrounds where the state unemployment rate for April.

Was lower than the national average including Colorado Iowa Ohio Pennsylvania and Virginia.

But there are several battleground where the state unemployment rate is worse than national average -- -- -- big ones like Florida North Carolina and Nevada and in fact after some more fundraising tonight and tomorrow in California the president will be in Nevada tomorrow afternoon talking about the economy where the unemployment rate is still over 11%.
