Eric Johnson -- there's a Libertarian Party candidate for president.

On the ballot in all fifty states like the other two people we keep hearing about and let -- go to -- in Hollywood California hello Laurie.

Hey.

In other -- and you don't get my support this time around because I do support President Obama.

But I know a lot of young people that I work -- you know I'm and the list and they all support Ron Pollack and I haven't -- -- -- on Allen's help.

I've been trying to convince them that support you because I know they support it -- the woman's right -- attack and talent and Ron Paul isn't for you.

-- if you like legalization of marijuana.

We -- think you're.

Well it is that that's the civil liberties side of this yet and the drug wars marriage equality and then and then there is the other side which is of balancing the budgets and taking on the entitlements if if we don't if we don't fix this stuff we're gonna find ourselves I think without a country.

We're gonna find ourselves in the midst of a monetary collapse.

But the fact that our dollars are going to be worth anything because of the ensuing inflation that.

Gonna go along with his printing and borrowing a 43 cents out of every dollar that respond.

Anyway Lorie thanks.

Well it because of your -- civil liberties -- I.

I would listen to you liberal -- -- to the other.

Why -- your alma liberal your liberal of you would you would not vote for Gary Johnson.

Obama supporter but I.

I but the -- -- older -- and -- did not like Clinton battle you know I.

I am an independent and that's what I what I got myself -- but it that you tell me you're not hurt a woman's right to choose -- Okay thank you branch appreciate were at 8774 Allen 8773672526.

Speaking out.

The drug issue.

And as you know Governor Cuomo in New York has decided he.

He's revitalized.

That's great a great step great step -- just just go the next step which is to legalize it and can confuse decriminalization illegals they -- the same thing.

Well I think decriminalization turns its.

Turns back on more than half of the problem which is the fact -- you gotta buy it so you decriminalize it -- make it easy.

Are you make it you decriminalizing you can possess it you can use it but I have to buy it so.

You know law enforcement just kind of re directs all their efforts to those that are still like almost any -- really enough.

It's not enough but it's a great step it's a great -- gets it gets people further talking about -- it and it were really -- at a tipping point on this issue national -- And and is gonna help.

But due to do that but as is -- tipping point certainly would gay marriage as well yes and that seems to win had to have the president come out for that that -- governor of New York.

One of the top fifty states a kid because on The New Yorker but I mean it isn't but obviously people look to New York to see -- New York does.

That that they -- tipping point with so many of these social issues that's gonna help someone like you in your beliefs.

And help advance a libertarian -- well I do believe that and I do think that you've got a couple that with the other side as to which is the dollars and cents part of the equation and I I don't.

I don't know -- I don't know how well Obama really does on civil liberties and he's okay but I.

I think I got better gitmo still -- we still have the Patriot Act we still have a war in Afghanistan news national defense authorization act was signed and a allowing four you know -- -- detainment of you or I if were arrested for Nokia now.

And how much color of the libertarian in the White House to let's say lightning -- you become the president.

And you've got a Republican House.

The democratic senate or divisive.

I know I mean I look -- the notion of of challenging the Democrats to repeal the Patriot Act.

Challenging the Democrats and it comes to marriage equality chair and -- -- challenging Democrats on not.

On on drug reform ending the drug war getting out of Afghanistan let's not bomb.

I ran and then challenging Republicans.

On the cup and get -- -- And let's let's slash spending let's save the country when it comes to.

-- dollars and cents wouldn't be affected by your financial reforms.

Well we all know how -- people's lives change how the poor people how the port people among -- I thought their lives I think I think we all change I think we all sacrifice attitude to say otherwise -- do you know that that's ignoring a problem to say otherwise is to.

Stick your head in the sand and wake up tomorrow and it is going to be to adjust tomorrow.

That hey we're in the midst of a monetary quite think about to collapse.

Look that there is we cannot escape the mathematics of continuing to borrow and spend money to the tune of 43 cents out of every dollar that we are spending.

There's a there's a consequence of that and maybe I said this before when I was up on your show.

The government is not going to announce haters gonna be a monetary collapse two weeks from Thursday -- spend all your money because come -- -- from Thursday money won't be worth I think.

They don't do that it just happens.

And you expect that we will happen well there is no there is no escaping this mathematics I mean.

These mathematics -- six years away from being at a 160%.

Of our debt to GDP which is Greece.

And and and we have really cute I mean we're capitalist nation we're not Greece were not a socialist country.

-- still entrepreneurship in this country.

How can we be anywhere near where agrees that we've got lower and lower interest rates -- is not an -- lakers well when you look at the entitlements when you look at time Medicaid Medicare.

It's not sustainable you can't you can't we can't continue to have something for nothing.

-- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- Together here a mutual sacrifice semblance -- save the country for for our kids if you will and by the way.

That this is not a debt we're handing off to our kids or grandkids it's here it's now it's -- be dealt with now we've we've done it to ourselves we -- 8774.

Allen 877.

3672526.

For Jerry Jones or libertarian presidential nominee who will be -- running.

Jim -- I've we don't know much about -- well so -- Superior Court Judge California retired.

Also a former federal prosecutor very outspoken regarding the war on drugs and was actually a libertarian candidate for senate in California Harry what goes on -- you choose Hemmer yes if you're a celebrity and well Libertarian Party chooses but that was my recommendation and they but they took -- what -- he -- the table.

Just a really solid guy.

-- in the you know the whole notion of one heartbeat away from the president I mean I'm I'm believing that there is the chances that I would actually be president and so we're taking this really seriously though this is the guy.

What are the -- -- do that.

I mean you know certainly obviously people will look at this and say all right pipe dream come and third party never happened.

How do you combat Billy you know the raised eyebrows all right nice tight range on videotape that they -- and Windmills.

You are actually that you got -- -- would be doing all right and I am still -- -- competitive until.

It's still out here until they open them up is that if this that are affiliated landfills are you Don Quijote -- -- now well it's hit.

-- may it may be so if I wasn't if I wasn't telling the truth and I I am I am operating under that premise that we'll look.

Call me up tonight and tell me something that I'm I'm and I'm stating wrong and if I if I am and and you pointed out culture change.

I'd I'd really anybody say you're not telling the -- the question is can those views can use surmount.

And overcome.

An incumbent president is raising millions and millions of dollars Mitt Romney.

Millions in those name recognition.

-- literally get a few months before the elect I got I got a fraction of a sense compared to their dollars yeah I -- that's their relative that I generally I can name recognition and I got the -- Joseph -- and it's gonna be Romney or Obama according to most people in this country.

There and they had -- -- -- -- -- -- now yeah now you're back at night you back to the 15% -- now you're back to the pie in the sky scenario that potentially I get on that debate stage.

And if that happens anything can happen I mean I can move both directions as I said before.

So you you're this is the -- -- -- -- -- -- -- strategies get in the debate if you get in the debate.

You become a contender and you think you can rise beyond the 50%.

And convince the American people without that that is -- -- yet that's the possibility that's whenever in the Republican.

The prize contest you couldn't get in those debates and -- enough to make it different well I couldn't get in the debates because I wasn't so in the polls that determine who got in the debates which is really unfair mean just a matter Heidi as you -- -- the Republican party for your dad yet.

Well I I am I intended.

It.

Back to what Ron Paul had to say.

I think is the fastest growing segment of American politics today news or libertarian libertarian leaning libertarian nobody seems to shy away from the moniker and now.

It's for a reason I mean it's really well -- well founded well and yeah libertarians have not been elected in lower offices where you would expect you would have a ground swell of ground grassroots.

Ruling of a party from local offices -- haven't we haven't seen that well and so it works both directions.
