All that we're watching and it's caused widespread flooding on the Gulf Coast stretching from Mobile, Alabama to Pensacola Florida.

And the areas are getting even more rain today we're sorry to tell you but we gotta give -- this report from Rick Reichmuth in the fox extreme center.

Rick how bad is it today.

A -- a lot of flooding going on and more fire danger let's start with that fire danger this set fire that's burning oppressors of Colorado.

It's just in the north of Denver actually about fifty miles to the west of Fort Collins.

And that 8000 acres that burned -- that was as of yesterday and they said it was significant acreage burned overnight -- that number.

Is gonna climbed 0% contained and we still have that fire threat today.

Very windy and dry conditions continue there.

Take a look at all the rain though yesterday we saw some spots here across the central goal.

Getting up to about eighteen inches of rain Pensacola your second -- -- state ever on record.

Over thirteen inches of rain and take a look at this it's still raining Pensacola little bit of a break right now some sunshine breaking through but more rain on the way.

And this filling in here are some areas again are gonna see maybe an additional five inches of rain so.

Flood warnings going on all across the central gulf flash flooding going on right now around Slidell Louisiana just to the north.

-- of lake project -- have big problems going on here.

There's one little silver lining to this Jamie take a look at the drought here across -- of the south these colors here.

That's the worst of the drought Pensacola leave a drought at least in towards Canada panhandle of Florida.

That will be wiped out by this but take a look where the rain is gonna fall over the next couple of days.

A lot of these series dealing with the drought a widespread area maybe three to four inches of rain.

We could be talking about flooding by tomorrow across parts of northern Georgia in the South Carolina.

And continued flooding with that additional five inches or so of rain -- gonna fall across parts of the central gulf one last story quickly for you Jamie.

Also with severe threat today hail and strong winds we could see tornado -- -- press areas of Minnesota by the time we get towards this afternoon.
