And another Fox News alert this morning Iran telling the west the only path to successful nuclear talks is for the world to except to -- position.

Iran's -- tone of defiance.

Comes after another round of talks with the United Nations nuclear watchdog the international atomic agency energy agency -- IAEA.

And we want to wish you a good morning everyone I'm Jamie Colby great to have you here -- Eric -- hey Jamie good morning good morning everyone and welcome to America's News HQ for this Sunday morning.

Well Iran is also again setting up pessimistic tone for separate nuclear talks -- start later this month in Moscow.

Now they're telling the world to quote except our demands and Tehran accuses the US a bully.

For more on this developing story let's bring -- Fox News contributor and former United States ambassador to the United Nations.

John Bolton who joins us this morning from Los Angeles morning ambassador.

Good morning are going to do it yet but now -- as you've been saying all along every Sunday morning this is going on and on and on and -- -- says.

Except our demands I mean except our demands -- or why.

Well implicitly what -- Iran in government wants is for.

Release from the sanctions or.

But more importantly acceptance that Iran is a legitimate nuclear state.

They would say it's for peaceful purposes obviously the rest of the world thinks it's for weapons purposes.

But I think restatements the way they blew off the IAEA has the latest round of discussions looking forward to the next meeting.

That would the perm five plus one in Moscow next week after this.

I think they they are very confident I think they believe they've got the the west on the run.

And I think these statements are -- reflection of that confidence until the west is indeed on the run what does that mean for the Iranian nuclear program.

Well I think it that puts it on track to continue to make progress -- build up to a greater stock of low enriched uranium which puts them very close to.

Being able to weaponized.

That and uranium.

And and it shows that there are successful resistance politically and economically.

Has put them in a very advantageous position when you wrap all this together with it.

Support they're giving the Asad regime in Syria along with Russia and other aside ally.

I think it shows that despite pressure from the west that Iran.

That continues to not only to survive but to prosper unfortunately so -- when he when you talk about -- successful resistance in your view.

Have -- been winning.

Well I I define winning by how close they're getting to a nuclear weapons capability I I don't doubt that the economic sanctions that have been put in place against Iran.

Have have impose some economic cost.

But I think they've become expert over the years in evading sanctions I think they're doing the same thing now.

They see weakness in the Obama White House they see weakness in Europe's economic conditions they're still supported.

By Russia and China.

So from Iran's point of view this is either a defiant stance because they expect the west basically to back down.

Or they're preparing the ground to make some meaningless trivial concession.

That that President Obama and our European friends will -- as a great triumph of diplomacy.

Thus -- Iran even more time to make more progress on its nuclear weapons program when you talk about meaningless concession what what do you think potentially that they could offer next week.

That may be the White House would say hey it's look it's working it's great.

Well for example the delay in allowing the IAEA to visit the parched -- which is where IAEA officials think Iran was working on the high explosives that are critical to detonating a nuclear explosion.

Iran may finally have succeeded in cleaning that up to their satisfaction.

And when they reach that point whatever turns out today I think they will allow the IAEA to visit.

Because they don't think there that the agency will find anything so if that before at that point or close to it.

That could be the kind of quote unquote concession Iran could make that would cause rapture in the in the White House.

And finally mentioned par action there are other satellite photos that apparently -- buildings have been raised.

There's -- -- it's water -- of some sort that could've been part of a cooling operation they believe that the nuclear facility.

Do you think the Iranians have indeed gone through and clean that up so that the UN inspectors wouldn't find it.

What we've seen this many times before in the Iran in nuclear weapons program is they try and remove evidence of radioactivity.

Or other activity associated with the nuclear weapons program.

It's very hard to remove all of the radiation that's why they have to tear down the buildings excavate thousands of cubic yards of dirt.

They're obviously hard at work it that in parts and and and they're gonna see whether they think they can clean it up enough to allow the -- to come in and not find any -- US ambassador John Bolton from Los Angeles this morning as always thank UN next week.

We'll be discussing the talks whatever happens with them in Moscow thanks investors always.
