Robert William Fisher committed one of Arizona's most heinous crimes in 2001.

Brutally murdering his wife and his two children and then setting their home on fire.

He's spent on the run since then despite being on the FBI's ten most wanted list.

Now with me is former detected TJ -- in Scottsdale police department and FBI special agent James church -- Gentlemen thank you so much for being with us this evening.

TJ I'm gonna start with you.

Can you tell us do what you were feeling or thinking when you were on the crime scene.

They waited there were a lot of people there bout between law enforcement.

Between the fire department.

And then of course she had the neighborhood crowding around because it's and it's a very quiet neighborhood and something like this tragedy -- occurs.

It concerns everybody.

But the most concerning aspect of it is when my partner and I John Kirk -- Walked to the rear of the house where the fire had blow in the back of -- -- out.

And we could see the victims lying in each separate bedrooms at that point so that was very concerning to us well.

Of -- -- can you tell us TJ what did you learn about what happened in that house.

What what we learned as that as the day progressed.

Is that Robert Fisher.

Had.

Slit the throats of his two children.

Slit the throat of his wife and then shot her in the head.

And John -- had stayed at the scene and he was -- crime scene investigator I went out.

With another detective and went to where Robert Fisher was working as a respiratory therapist.

And I interviewed numerous people -- he was working with at the Mayo hospital that time.

All right so you interviewed these people -- what do you find out about this man -- slips that throats of his family in this is.

All.

-- for the fire.

Yes it is it's he did he prior to fire correct -- Regarded judge -- -- you go ahead what did you find out about this guy.

I -- it but I think the strangest aspect that we found out about Robert Fisher at least and interviewing numerous friends and his numerous.

Coworkers that he worked with at the hospital.

I mean judge -- -- -- to sit down and interview let's say for five of your good friends they would give me 34 characteristics.

Of your personality.

What Robert Fisher what I found is really I don't believe it.

Whether his coworkers -- friends I don't leave anybody really knew this man.

The only -- and was his arrogance and he was a control freak.

But no prior criminal record right.

No none opposing didn't none of that are right agents heard -- how has this guy.

Who apparently has some -- -- back injury which makes them walk rarely straight and tall.

How even able to evade capture for eleven years.

Well this is particularly challenging.

Investigation.

For us he is a here's a common look.

He is an individual that's six -- 490 pounds.

A balding white male age fifty.

That pretty much covers a very large segment of the population.

So he has the ability to blend and even with the issue with his back.

He does have some characteristics.

And some mannerisms which -- which I think your viewers need to to know about.

And that's the controlling aspect that's -- fact that he's an avid outdoorsman.

He has gold tooth in the upper left hand portion of his of his mouth.

He has the ability you know based upon his looked to blend and unfortunately.

How the public help locate this guy.

Agent George -- mean what I mean you described in physically but.

-- -- respiratory therapist right would you think that he would be working in the medical profession now.

I don't know exactly where he's working or if he's working I think.

Think the key in for the viewers it's to look at his characteristics he's an avid outdoorsman so we believe he's gonna be someplace where he can.

Hunt and fish.

We also believe that that he is an individual who if he is in some type of of relationship with someone -- will be very controlling.

So if there's somebody out there what are your viewers who knows an individual fits this description.

Who is extremely controlling -- any woman or any individual -- around them who acts like a loner who is.

-- extremely controlling that's that's the type of individual that we're looking for.

Well that's.

I'll be back injury agent -- -- I mean would he need a medical assistance or doctor's care.

I don't believe so -- the back injury was caused from a an injury he received when he was a paramedic.

He was he had back surgery he does have a star on the lower portion of his back.

And yes he does walk -- -- abnormally.

You know abnormal posture.

But again being an outdoorsman and -- -- for an official and I don't believe he's gonna require medical assistance.

Okay and -- Agents -- jail but there was talk and that they had made a good -- jam this there was talk that he went into the woods.

All or is in the caves in Arizona do we have any sense of how he let -- be left Arizona at all.

Well the the information that that we have we work very closely with our partners from -- -- so police department and all of our other state and local.

A federal partners here in Arizona the actual vehicle itself was.

Was found approximately ten days later -- young -- on which is north of the city.

The vehicle had two flat tires to -- flat tires.

However the family dog was we found.

Alive and well and he was last seen in in northern Arizona.
