Are right now we're moving on to Cal Thomas -- the syndicated op Ed columnist Fox News contributor.

At Cal Thomas on Twitter and he joins us there by Skype and phone while you -- multitasking.

To the joining cal how aria.

I'm Julie and earlier in Europe where the economy is in worse shape than it is an American right now I'm -- about a column.

On now what is today tomorrow we'll have it in there on.

The looking back at Margaret Thatcher and older prediction she made with.

What would happen to Europe if a single currency was adopted so I think you'll find it very interesting to look at her.

Truck prophecies some of them more than twenty years ago every single one of them have come true.

Interesting all right and now you've got this other topic we wanna talk about what was Watergate.

And how and how the media's -- this news story this sort of being.

Re entered into the media.

Forty years ago this month Julie was the outbreak in a democratic headquarters.

After Watergate Hotel in Washington DC and every decade since then and even in between those decades the Washington Post has been.

Celebrating and observing there.

One of their rare and accomplishments.

In bringing down a president of the United States Richard Nixon.

Carl Bernstein and Bob Bob Woodward have written this forty year anniversary peace.

And it's about beef what they call the five -- -- Richard Nixon that included.

A war on the constitution -- -- war on the anti war movement.

-- a war on the Democratic Party among others.

I I find this amusing because.

You know everybody knows what Watergate was even.

Younger people leave they study of their history books but this is all the Washington Post can do they -- that he had not applied to kind of resources.

To the current administration -- this president they didn't apply those resources and vetting him when he was running for president.

Basically giving him a free pass on his background and all -- -- this nostalgic look back into the for them their Camelot days of bringing down Richard Nixon.

And the two star reporters who wrote many books and had.

A movie made about their exploits with one of the stars being the hunky Robert Redford.

So forty years later basically in the Washington Post continues to wallow in Watergate.

I haven't been -- all the -- -- I guess the rest of the classic media to properly vet Obama.

-- absolutely this story editor of the Woodward -- Bernstein wrote that appeared in the post -- -- through syndication many papers that throughout the country yesterday and today.

Goes on for each printed pages that you printed on it's eight solid page if you open.

And it funnier if you open it on your Blackberry it's actually 26 after the U I wonder hey -- I started reading it this morning and I look.

You know you scroll down to page one that says one of 26 -- -- are you getting it and suddenly -- readers are reading at the way I am on our on our harder on our devices so like I did not read you the entire thing as a Blackberry doesn't have that kind of time.

Well let's look at your book for some people -- -- -- to college or high school days and Livan nostalgia and this is all the post has again they're cutting staff they're cutting resources.

Newspaper -- -- -- shadow of their former selves I don't understand for the dedication certainly in the case of the Democrats and liberals.

To go after them with the same.

Velocity that they did Richard Nixon and other Republicans it's very sad and I think this is another reminder of -- Much of the so called mainstream which is really morally -- Eddie these days media.

Represent.
