This tough economy is forcing a lot of towns to reinvent themselves trying to jump start local businesses case in point.

Potlatch Idaho was once known for -- its timber.

Now it's just one of several hard hit communities in need to be known as gun towns dance for -- live in Seattle San.

Yep Megan officials and Potlatch -- big guns are a perfect fit and they are welcoming the industry with open arms this old mill town lost.

Over half its population -- the -- shut down thirty years ago.

The people who still -- older -- around guns in fact the mayor tells me during hunting season you'll see a rifle in every gun rack.

Company officials like the fact that they can test their ammunition right there on the property without getting a bunch of complaints from neighbors.
