Hi everyone I'm meteorologist Marie Maloney announced on the -- extreme weather center with your forecast for the northeast.

And today albeit very pleasant day as far as temperatures go out across the northeast with high temperatures.

US typical of the senate the year very pleasant setting to bring York city seven need to over in Syracuse as well.

And seventy through their high temperature this afternoon in the city of buffalo and this is much different across interior portions of the northeast.

Now woolly -- deal with yesterday yesterday so many guys.

Eating that up into the upper eighties -- -- nine degrees across interior parts of northeast and also down into the mid Atlantic so we're seeing already some of those cooler temperatures moving on -- And the reason why it's it will be a little bit cooler -- because we actually had some cloud cover that's blocking that sunshine.

And keeping things on the cooler side and also on -- this one issue that's going on in to the northeast is associate with the cold fronts -- is also slightly cooler air Scioscia with this storm system.

Pushing eastward along with -- -- showers and storms will be possible today.

Across parts of the northeast down -- the mid Atlantic because of this is sound and we're already seeing some of those heavier downpours across parts of upstate New York.

Down into central Pennsylvania also the -- land area and down into Virginia and again these showers and storms.

We'll continue to linger -- slowly push eastward as the end -- basically 24 hours before referral system continues to just -- eastward.

And we're gonna start to see a bit of a drying trend behind it as we head into basically a Wednesday and -- -- your Thursday would take a look at Wednesday morning and -- -- -- still raining out there across parts.

New England still a slight chance for some more rainfall across New York City but then again that drier air moving -- -- and by 9 AM Thursday were expecting a relatively quiet morning commute for you guys.

As he has worked with some sunshine and temperatures really won't be dropping a whole lot more than what you're gonna see today widespread -- expected.

But you could be looking at some cooler morning loans.
