It's the end of another school year and for many kids it's their last at a public school.

And that's why I think is -- home school nothing against public school but I say you know -- not really -- -- on anything eight ball hit.

-- isn't alone nationwide to more and more families are choosing to home school their children each year.

In one of the fastest growing segments of the home school movement is African Americans.

There's no one reason why parents are pulling their kids from traditional schools but many say it's -- -- more individualized education others to protect from bad influences like bullying in drugs I think it was the best thing best placement at a government there -- no exact figures but in 1999.

There were fewer than a million children in home school.

Now a decade later there more than two million.

And by some estimates that more than 220000.

Of those students are African American there -- time six.

More and more kids end up not being served well so I think African Americans are positively saying.
