Fox -- news live this morning there's new fallout after a member of president Obama's cabinet.

Was involved in two hit and run car crashes.

Congress secretary John Bryson saying that he will take a leave of absence.

After reportedly suffering a seizure.

And now authorities are trying to determine exactly what happens.

Senior White House course correspondent foreign affairs correspondent Wendell Goler joins me now live from the White House good morning -- Morning Martha about 10 o'clock last night John Bryson spokeswoman sent a statement to reporters announcing his leave of absence this was.

After Bryson spent the day at the office here in Washington.

And his aides and White House officials spent the -- really unable to answer many questions about Saturday's events the statement read in part quote.

Effective immediately I am taking a medical leave of absence so that I can focus all of my attention on resolving the health issues that are rose over the weekend.

Earlier white house Press Secretary Jay Carney shed little light on Saturdays sequence of events.

We're still in the process of a gathering information about it.

You understand that this happened he was alone he was on private time not with the security detail and was hospitalized.

So there's more the needs to be learned.

Carney said the president hadn't spoken to Bryson though as chief of staff has Martha.

So what do we know about the accidents in terms of what happened what are we learning at this point -- -- Well we know Bryson hit a car containing three people Saturday afternoon in the LA suburb of San Gabriel he got out.

Exchanged a few words with the occupants but then got back into his vehicle.

And hit the car again as he drove off be -- a second car about five minutes later.

And police found him unconscious slumped over the -- after bad incidents.

A spokeswoman says -- and suffered a seizure at some point during the sequence of events but it's unclear whether it was before the first crash.

Or as a result of one of them aides say -- himself.

Doesn't remember much about the incidents police say he might he would have been charged had he not been taken to the hospital one -- -- Disturbing situation -- question -- thank you very much went out.
